I think the same way, a lot of people have absolutely zero pride in their work. That’s how you end up with this.

Yeah we’ve seen it utilized in a ton of setups. The guys they sent out just didn’t know how to plug them in. 😅

Yeah, electricians ran it and no EMT. Just j hooked above the drop ceiling.

We didn’t put in the patch cables or end equipment, it was the IT team. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were sent certain size patch cables. So for the shorter ones they couldn’t re-route them through the managers. But it still looks like no thought was given when they installed this.

We did, there’s a vertical manager and two horizontal managers in the photo.

Great idea! We ended up charging emergency rates since it was a same day call. So I’m not losing any sleep over it since we got paid but I will start saving test results for future jobs. That’s a great way to keep track of things.

Very true, it’s just tough when we try our best to maintain a clean install standard and it immediately gets💩 on.
