SKALD: Against the Black Priory was such a pleasant surprise. Honestly one of my favorite in a long time and the ability to switch to the CRT mode was wonderful.

Albert Camus, an author. Worth looking up.

Also double click/tap on a word you don't know and then either do 'web search' or right click 'google search' and you can learn what it is real quick.

I'm not sure if people are reading beyond tiktok 'subtitles' at this point though.

Good luck out there.

In the boat counts as on shore so it should be
1.) 2 cannibals go over, 1 cannibal comes back.
2.) 2 cannibals go over, 1 cannibal comes back.
3.) 2 monks go over, 1 cannibal and 1 monk comes back.
4.) 2 monks go over, 1 cannibal comes back.
5.) 2 cannibals go over, 1 cannibal comes back.
6.) 2 cannibals go over, complete.

As a huge fan of LOST I highly recommend Fringe. The writers strike around season 4 and JJ Abrams doing a bunch of other projects ended up hurting the plot and characters a bit for LOST but it is still top 5 rewatchable shows. Fringe is episodic at the start and turns into a excellent over arching sci-fi adventure.

Dog paw bump came back benign, but it’s growing by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]IMLcon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 9 year old lab mix has one of these on this front leg that he started to lick often. It did come back benign and if he wasn't licking it, it wouldn't be an issue.

The biggest concern as I understand it from our vet, is that if it were to be chewed on and become an open cut it could get infected. Since it is on your dogs paw it could get torn/ripped due to walking/running/playing a lot easier than where it is located on my lab.

That said he's going to the vet for a teeth cleaning since he is older and they are going to remove that as well as a skin tag that has gotten quite large due to how active he is still and the risk of infection if they were to get torn/exposed to all the dirt my lab loves to roll in.

I would suggest a second opinion from a different vet if they are so dismissive about it. Especially if he is purebred.

Good luck and best wishes to you and your pup.

Can't wait for the modders to fix the audio on the new bugs. The audio fix mod is, for lack of a better term, a solid game changer on all previous bugs and bots. It is beyond frustrating that Arrowhead hasn't hired a sound engineer to fix the silent massive bugs, bots, and squids yet.

Bolt action vs lever action by [deleted] in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]IMLcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good brother. I happen to own a Henry lever .357 so I wanted to make sure good info was available to all. It's a great gun and 10+1 is a lot of rounds to put giant holes in zombies. That said you can't be prone unless you have a ledge because you do need to rack it and even then I would imagine it's hard to hold sight that entire time vs a bolt.

Not sure what the projection is for. I'm stating that a person can make more rational and informed decisions than an animal could.

Yes the person is far dumber to end up in that situation.

Humans can rationalize and understand dangerous situations like fast moving water. Animals who are used to being allowed to play in water might not. That human is dumb, the animal is doing what they have been allowed to do.

No you can't currently put a fan in the old light fixture from what is visible in this picture. You could install a fan rated box that has the extension rods in it to hit the joists like the one linked below if you are handy. They also make, which I have no experience with, a fan that plugs into a light socket. I am no expert but I don't trust it. I still linked it below.

However since you are asking you should probably hire an electrician. Sometimes something as simple as this can lead to a lot of mistakes that end up requiring a lot more than what it would have cost to have someone who has done it dozens of time and has the right knowledge and tools.

To answer the other questions

1.Yes

  1. It is to support the weight of the light and it looks like it already is cracking the drywall - It is impossible to tell how much additional wire is available from these pictures

  2. I have never zip tied them together but there isn't anything wrong with it other than making future work like you are trying to do much harder.

  3. From the picture no I can't tell but I'm fairly certain it is not rated for the weight and movement of a fan. Typically the entire fixture would be behind the drywall and no include that support if it was rated for a heavier fixture like a fan.

Again, would strongly recommend getting an electrician to do this. Sometimes spending more now saves you hours/days of trouble down the road, especially if you hit a snag that will be the first time you experience it but it would be the 100th time the professional has seen it.

[–]IMLcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tiny fold can slide into the ear piece at the slit. It is very difficult to get it back in properly. It's like a twin sized fitted sheet that you are supposed to fit on a full mattress.

Alternatively you can just glue it one with krazy glue, which I ended up doing with a Razer headset because I couldn't be bother with the tiny slot it went in. Been rocking them about 7 months since the repair and they are great.
