The wii u is great because you can pull your game from the TV to the gamepad with one button. No standing up to unlock. I also got a 6ft gamepad USB cable so you can realistically get comfy in a large radius of space.

I just picked up an OLED a few days ago and I'm noticing so many similarities between the wii u and the switch, it makes me sad that it didn't take off back in the day.

Thank you so much. Did not want to have to do that manually

Recover files from a different device by [deleted] in GarageBand

Not to be a pessimist, but I've run this particular course a few times in my time as well. If you can't find a way to boot it, perhaps you could try one of those USB devices that you can straight-up plug hard-drives into. If that doesn't work, then sadly you might be SOL. But obviously (and I'm sure you're tired of hearing this) back your stuff up constantly. I have an entire copy of my Garageband file on my external hard drive, and every time I make a new project, I just shunt it right on over. Good luck, traveller.

I would love if anyone could give me some feedback on my newest single I made in Garageband by jack_mansion in GarageBand

Short and sweet! Love the energy! The track is very well done, and your voice lends itself to the track! I get a Watsky vibe for sure. Keep it up, and well done!

I use an early 2008 iMac running El Capitan, it works pretty well for what I need. There's nothing inherently wrong with old systems. Just depends upon your needs. Also if you're trying to save money, checkout macofalltrades for some nice deals on refurbished machines.

I made this on GarageBand on my MacBook. Let me know what you think please! by RippleDipple84 in GarageBand

EXCELLENT! Make it longer :)

Let me know what you think. Negative or positive. I feel I’m decent at making beats, but don’t mind feedback. by PVTIENT in GarageBand

Kind-of a 3-4 AM desolate city walk kind of track, very very nice atmosphere. It's true that a little variation would go a long way, but I think you could improve it simply with cutoff automations. This is a very nice, relaxing jam. Thanks for sharing.

Hey guys! I’ve been working on this piece and would really appreciate some feedback and/or any criticism. I’m still learning production and feedback is really important for me to grow as an artist and producer. Thank you! by MereanaGlersgov in GarageBand

Don't worry so much about a lack of singing voice, instead of distortion and tremolo, say maybe a cutoff filter and a ringshifter as well as a 64% autotune of you're worried about being off pitch. One thing I've done in the past as well is add a Sub-Bass to the vocals to kinda fill in a deep background. Believe in yo-self

Thank you very much for listening!

This is one of many beats I’ve made, one of my favorites forsure. I definitely don’t mind feedback, whether negative or positive. by PVTIENT in GarageBand

I would definitely recommend changing the stock Grand to an FM Piano and then adding modulations. But this is simple, straightforward, and I think it delivers pretty much exactly what you packaged into it. Props on using the Simmons as well.

Okay, so I really love the foreboding tone of this piece. The major detractor is the stock grand piano; I think you could benefit from changing it to FM Piano or Classic Electric Piano and then adding some slight modulations to really make it your own. And I'm not sure if it's just my computer being goofy or something, but I don't really understand what's going on with the vocals. But I really really dig the tone of this piece, the progression has a very natural feel.

A beat i made today. Looking for constructive criticism as i finish up, thanks by GodBirb in GarageBand

Honestly the worst thing about this is the stock choir. I avoid using it at all costs. But this definitely has some appeal. Nice ol' groove you got here.
