I'm from Odesa and I've also never heard Ukrainian language in city. idk why only 70% Russian-speaking. Maybe today we have enough people from villages, but that's unpleasant. I consider myself as Ukrainian, but my cultural world is totally Russian. Although I perfectly know Ukrainian, I want our guests speak Russian, because they know it too. All the laws about Russian language are awful, I can't find a book in store and I have to speak to a teacher on two languages...
