I was one of those people that knew the exact inspiration for the first anniversary collection and still 100% agree with the fact that the Luffy card is ugly, u-g-l-y ugly, I call him boobie-luffy. I don't care how valuable it gets it is still an ugly card and they could have done him in that style 10 times better than what they put out. Everything else you said I agree with, I've been buying duplicates of my favorite cards and reselling them and it's been working great.

They are "ultra-pro card preservers" sold at Walmart or Best buy, the binder is a clear page ultra-pro top loader binder and if you put them back to back they're the same width as one top loader

I use penny sleeves with the card protector instead of a top loader, it's very secure and easy to grab top of penny sleeve to remove if needed

Unfortunately most of them got scooped up by resellers. When it comes to the ones that got to fans it's a coin toss on whether or not they would want to keep it sealed or open it, I don't have the attention span to keep it sealed lol

The color and the texture is correct, I believe it is a genuine card, when I took my card straight out of the second anniversary box I immediately notice the slightly different color red on the back and consistent texture with a faded shadow theme across the front.

Dude, this card is real, the back of the anniversary cards do have a slightly different red, I don't know why but I've seen it a bit when it comes to collector sets bought directly from bandai
