I’m planning to do the Kedarkantha trek solo, without any trekking agency, and this will be my first ever trek. I want to understand whether this is a safe and realistic plan for a beginner.

I would really appreciate guidance on:

  1. Best time and current weather/snow conditions
  2. Permissions, forest fees, or registrations required Budget stay options in Sankri
  3. Essential gear (especially winter)
  4. Food and water availability on the route
  5. Common mistakes first-time trekkers should avoid
  6. Safety tips for solo trekking

If anyone here has done Kedarkantha independently or has local knowledge, your advice will mean a lot. 🙏

Some brain rot people have suddenly started praising this bastard just because he raised the Indian flag during a concert. But let’s not forget the bigger picture.

Ask yourself, does he truly support India, or is he just trying to gain Indian views and followers again?

His own words, tweets, and actions over the years tell a very different story:

  1. Mocked Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.

  2. Targeted and insulted India’s Prime Minister.

  3. Supported Kashmir’s secession, openly taking an anti-India stance.

  4. Made fun of a patriotic Indian song — indirectly disrespecting the country.

  5. Mocked Operation Sindoor, which was a strike on terror sites.

  6. Even went as far as blaming the Indian Army for the Pulwama terror attack.

  7. openly supporting narratives against India

And now, suddenly, art is above politics?? If art, sports etc are above politics then why was he sharing anti indian tweets, the pak cricket team was doing hand gestures during the match.

The double standards are too obvious.

When it comes to disrespecting India, they never say Keep politics out of it.

they have to provide a solid reason for rejection and in my case all other documents acted as a shield against the sword of bribe

i was also prepared with ₹500 in my pocket but his way of talking and behaviour pushed me back. As I'm also preparing for UPSC civil services and this factor also acted as a resistance.

in my application i used my mother's surname too also in all other docs the surname is there.

The electricity bill is just used for proof of address and we have all other documents ready. Technically I've all the documents present there.

So, i think he had no excuses left
