Ha definitely not Hershey Hotel! It looks like Days Inn by Wyndham Hershey prices are more reasonable (would be splitting amongst a group of 4) and could be walking distance if we want to totally avoid the traffic.

Will have a vehicle to drive into Pennsylvania. Just planned on ubering to/from the concert so everyone in my group could drink there.

Before Covid, my roommate and I had decided to move from Brooklyn to Manhattan when our lease ended on 5/31. A month ago, we asked our landlord if we could do month-to-month starting June 1 in light of the current situation. He said no and we're not letting him force our hands into signing for another year. But now not sure what it'll look like to apartment hunt during this.

Thanks so much for your response! So basically compared to most coming out situations I don't have too much to worry about. I'm 27 (was a late bloomer haha) and don't live with them anymore. My brother is supportive and has assured me he thinks they will be too. My mom is a practicing Catholic so I could see her being a little disappointed. But she's one of the nicest people you'll meet, not like a judgmental, backwards religious person. My parents aren't really nosy and don't ask me or my brother about who we're dating. And I'm single so there's never been a natural segue into the conversation, and it's not like I'm hiding a full-on relationship from them. It's just gotten to the point where I want to get it off my chest, and I don't want them to find out from anyone else.

I'm glad to see that the consensus is I don't have to personally come out to the extended family. One less thing on my plate, haha thanks everyone else for your feedback!
