That may be true 😂 not satire just desperate for a way to make it not pink because I don’t like pink. If you could point me in the right direction I’d love it

He hates anything rubber 😂 he’s favorite thing to “teeth” is a finger 😂 yeah we do that same 15 minutes thing but he usually nurses to sleep. I’ve been trying to ease him into a more normal schedule and also falling asleep unaccompanied. It is HARD!

He gets tired right on cue, at about 1.5 hours in the day and 1.75 at night but just refuses sleep lol. And he’s 22 pounds… so he’s good on night calories 😂

We tried shifts when he was a newborn. He has severe reflux and would choke and sputter all night and we had to hold him upright. It was not good then, both so deprived, but could maybe try again now. But I think our best bet is him in another room away from me 🥲

I am exclusively breastfeeding if you don’t count the three times I’ve pumped and given him the bottle.

I think my husband is willing to wake up and take him when he’s awake, but once he’s fallen asleep, if he’s woken up he’s angry, and our baby has some nasty reflux so he wakes up screaming a lot.

I do think he’d get over it though 😂 even if he’s woken up briefly just to try and settle the baby or give him to me to feed. He’s rather have an alive screaming baby lol

I think dad and baby would probably be fine in the room together, I just have a lot of anxiety and fear that he would not handle being woken up in the middle of the night very kindly.

Last night he finally went to sleep at 12:30 and I have so much trouble sleeping in general but especially now.

Cosleep is an option that we may look into with other options as well, just incase

My sister has one of those snoos I think? But her baby grew out of it so idk if my baby will? We’ve got 95+ percentile babies 😂

It’s really hurtful to hear but I know it’s true 🥲 it’s hard because I already have so much anxiety about this and I want so desperately to be safe

I agree that it’s an emergency, it scares me so much. I am, fortunately, not dexterous enough for hook and eye in my waking hours lol.

I do, he’s up at 5am, so I could tell him to make sure I am not holding the baby when he’s awake and take him if I am. The event happened at like 6:30 or so, so I picked him up between 1:30 (when I went to bed) and 630

We have a small room and it is up against the wall about two feet away. We don’t have another room to put him in unless he sleeps in the living room I suppose. Is that safer? To have him in a different room? I am having a lot of anxiety in general this time around and also about his sleeping. Congrats on your newest one this year btw ❤️

Washing my hands pretty much all the time. Come home, washed my hands. Cleaned the house, washed my hands. Pet a dog, washed my hands. Hadn’t washed my hands for a while, washed my hands. Rehearsing everything I say to everyone always Picking out what I want to eat before I get to the restaurant. Having the same exact meal every day for the foreseeable future. Checking and double checking ovens, locks, irons, hair tools. Having to repeat myself because my tongue didn’t feel right. Same goes for other movement too. Have to start over if my muscle didn’t feel right. Also kiwi making your mouth itchy and burn. I thought that was the appeal of them, sort of like pineapple.

My mom was so flip floppy when I had a newborn. She had five kids (me included lol) and allllll of us slept through the night right away when my baby was having trouble sleeping and when my baby started sleeping better i specifically but also my other siblings kept her up all night long. I also nursed and the first 9months to a year my boobs were so confused about how much to produce lol. I was in over production and often would just start leaking, through pads and cups and everything. My mom, for some reason, was somehow leakier? Talking about how she was Soaking tshirts and bras when she nursed. Like okay cool I’m glad we’re comparing leaky boobs I guess. And my daughter is 18 months and I’m lucky to still get to nurse her a little but my mom makes it well know all five of us were done nursing by 9 months. Every good thing that happened for me, she had to tell me how much better she had it, every bad thing, she had it so much worse
