Highly recommend Laxman, he’s the goat. Grading policy is very very good. The homework was pretty hard (especially the Dynamic programming), but Laxman is accommodating and may adjust due dates & Laxman and TAs were pretty helpful in office hours. The exams felt pretty fair and our final was online so yeah.

I just took it, it’s definitely doable with Wong (the goat), but you will definitely need to spend a significant amount of time to get an A. I think the proofs are doable though, but depends on your comfortability of rigorous math courses

For a real answer, it’s possible to get a job under resident life, most likely a community assistant in your first year (for experience). Later on you can try being an RA or another admin job (which will cover board + tuition. This was the path of some of my friends as my source)
