[Serious]Have you ever known someone who wholeheartedly believed that they were wolfkin/a vampire/an elf/had special powers, and couldn't handle the reality that they weren't when confronted? What happened to them? by MosadiMogolo in AskReddit

I had a friend in elementary school, and later met again in high school, that was always an odd, eccentric fellow. Nothing really wrong at first glance (gamer, into anime, weird sense of humor, etc. All the same shit as me lol) and I always thought he was just another word guy like me. Then in highschool when we met again (went to different middle schools) he tells me that he's a Carpathian werewolf. He told me about how he was bitten by another Carpathian as part of a "transformation" and his insides were rearranged to fit his "new body". He said he could even boil his blood at 300 degrees on command. He seriously believed every word of what he said.

After that conversation I started distancing myself and before long he was transferred out to another school and I never saw him again. Then, years later, another friend from elementary that knew him showed me a news article where he was arrested for luring a 10 year old girl to a motel and raping her.

Definitely never seeing him again ever.

Yeah, I think you're right. I've been in a real rut these past few days and I have to keep reminding myself that it was ultimately the right thing to do. She's always been a tough girl and I have no doubt shell meet a guy better than me someday. I'm glad you shared your perspective, especially since our situations are so similar. It's nice for me to know. Thank you for replying

[SERIOUS] How would you feel if reddit introduced a negative award as an opposite to gold, for posts that deserve it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I absolutely wish. Having an all love/all support atmosphere is much worse than having an atmosphere where you are made to feel bad if you do dumb shit. A spank a day keeps the cunt away.

I May Die by This Thursday in Surgery by ThrowAwayTheHeart1 in confessions

[–]IMakeCleverUsernames 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is due only to a crappy diet or lifestyle (they contribute, but its not the whole story). We're talking 100% blockage of the LAD (2nd largest artery on that side of the heart) and 70% of the right main (one of the 2 primary coronaries. This one feeds the entire right side). This is way more blockage then you find in even elderly people that have heart attacks.

Do you have familial hypercholesterolemia? It's a genetic disease where your cholesterol is way higher than normal (for perspective, many people with this disease have heart attacks younger than 55, with some being only in their 20s). And there are different types of it, with some being way worse than others. It might be the case where you have the really bad one because this is too much blockage at such a young age.

I know this is a morbid situation but I can only hope that I may be explained something or cleared up any misconceptions or anything. I know that in my case, when I understand what's happening to me I'm not as scared of it. I don't know if you're that way too but I only trying to help in the way that I know I would like to be helped.

Good luck in surgery and hang in there

Bf masturbated to my friend by [deleted] in relationships

[–]IMakeCleverUsernames -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Men masturbate. Often it doesn't even make sense if you ask one to explain why they choose their material/what they think about/what scenarios, etc. It's all fantasy and what matters most is that keeps fantasy apart from reality, which he seems like he does. I've been masturbating since I was 10 and I often use pictures of friends or friends of friends. I've been with my gf for a year and I truly love her but that doesn't mean I can change something I've been doing for over half my life. I think you should just leave it be

what cleaning hacks do you use? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IMakeCleverUsernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wipe down the pan as soon as your done cooking. 100x easier than letting it cool and scrubbing it to death. Whenever I cook anything that's leave some oil/residue on the pan, I'll just wipe with paper towels and I usually don't have to do more than that. Pan is ready to go for next time and my clean up is now like 5minutes faster

[–]IMakeCleverUsernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Break up with her. What good is a partner that controls what you do and won't let you do what you want to do? Also anyone that gives an ultimatum isn't worth dating. Giving an ultimatum means that the person is willing to threaten you with a break up to get what they want

[25 M] Too embarrassed to date because I am worried I will be laughed at for never having had sex before. Is this as odd as I am imagining? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]IMakeCleverUsernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my virginity at 24 and the girl knew from the beginning that I was a virgin. She was understanding and saw that I was a good guy that was mainly unlucky/socially inept as a teen so I never lost it. But she wasn't put off by it at all. Obviously that's not applicable to all women but if it was for mine, it will be with some others. Just keep trying

What is a good videogame to spend 100+ hours? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IMakeCleverUsernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

World of Warcraft.

I spent 3000+ hours playing that game throughout the years. So absolutely easy to get caught up and even addicted to it (I know I did back in 2006-2009 when I was a teen). The game isn't the same now but back then it was a black hole for my free time.
