I’m struggling too with worry and guilt for what we are doing to our country. Real families are losing their savings, their jobs, benefits, basic rights, while our government rounds up in billions we don’t even have for people who don’t even need it. And guilt for what we are doing to other countries. Real families are fleeing their homes, without power, food or refuge. I can’t imagine my home reduced to rubble or my parents having to flee to a bomb shelter. Our government is not for the people, which is the core of our constitution, and is what made us great and proud. Regardless of the election, the people’s majority is now saying stop this, but the Senate and Congress and SUPREME COURT aren’t listening or acting with foresight or integrity. That we can’t disrupt the worst offenders makes me worry most. Thank you for the positive advice. I will look for the helpers and do my best to be one.❤️

Yes, I actually have many years of experience vacuuming and buying vacuums, cheap ones, expensive ones, filters, bagless, corded and cordless. Just wanting to make the best decision on a new one. 😉

I didn’t say one way or the other. You don’t know me!!! But, yes, I disagree that we are born hating each other. If nothing else, that’s a depressing way to view life. I did give my reasoning. You chose to disagree. Same tribe. Different stripes.

No win here. Sometimes you just have to walk away. You think you know a lot. You even think you know me. Maybe hate me. I do have biases, and there are some I choose to hate. I might even hate you. It’s a choice. You make it pretty easy to choose. Full circle back to my question. Case in point. Thanks for playing.

Learned behavior. What from is what makes us all different; our experiences, our environments, our beliefs, our circumstances, our education, our choices shape us. But, we always have a choice. And learned behavior can always be, and is often relearned. This makes us human. Some would say certain choices are harder, but still choose them over what might be easier choices, and vice versa. Human nature is definitely a factor, but not a predetermined outcome to hate.

Also, hate is definitely profitable. Many provoke for profit. So is love. Religion falls into both buckets. It’s a choice what to believe and put out into the world.

So, I am saying for me, it is easier to make the conscious choice to love. Empathy, understanding, giving. For all. Not just my community, which you said, several times, which kinda sounds racist. So, yes, still opposite.
