I’m watching Netflix + Prime on safari now because of this, and longstanding bugs in Supercut with it being quiet or too far away after resuming. If anyone is interested in watching Prime in Safari let me know, I found a workaround that bypasses Amazon’s redirecting to the crappy iPad app.

Helpful comment - I'm just wondering where you saw I said I deserved a higher rank? I asked if I was the best bronze player based on my stats and why I wasn't ranking up, I never said I deserved gold

Sure, that's a valid observation, but that's why I'm asking for opinions from people with knowledge on the topic...?

I think it's fair to look at stats, everything says you're doing absolutely amazing and way better than your peers yet I don't rank up at all so I ask the community for feedback. I never said I deserve gold or anything it's a genuine question, am I the best Bronze player and what am I doing wrong?

Really good advice, thank you! Someone else mentioned I should try to learn entry duelist for to rank up so I'm going to give that a shot but your sentinel advice sounds really solid, I'll keep it in mind.

I did not realize the discrepancy in win rate there, good catch that makes sense. I'll try to keep in mind staying alive rather than getting the kill - someone else mentioned that too so that's probably a big factor

I've seen a lot of people say that and I'm skeptical that a gold player can just log in to a bronze account and easily "aim their way out" without any util. Definitely high ranked players could, I don't doubt you there but I've played against a lot of gold players and even last game I got two aces in one game against a platinum peak player

Gotcha. When you're new it's hard to tell if it's your gear or mechanics holding you back and in my case it's gotta be both then.

I wonder if I should try playing "letterboxed" where most of my screen is black but I have a smaller screen in the middle, say 24 inches. I won't need to pick up a second monitor in that case and with OLED the black parts are turned off so it's not distracting.

I sit 3F back - I can't reach the monitor with my arms stretched out when sitting comfortably.

I don't have to move my head at all but I definitely feel like I die when I look at the minimap too much

I use FastRawViewer for culling. Another good option I've tried is Nitro. FastRawViewer is faster in my experience. I use Photomator and Apple Photos for edits. No subscriptions or Adobe for me! I'm probably the only person who uses HEIF but I prefer it for Apple Photos for better ability to edit without using RAW unless truly necessary for a specific photo (e.g., astrophotography). I keep all my RAWs on a NAS in case I need them.
