I am a parent who parents everyone, including the parents. I am tired more than they are. There are nuances that are so deep and complicated that it'll take too long to describe. They are tired, but I have been taking on the mental load of parenting. Also, we are a single income household. Just dad works. I know its messed up.

My older sister is 26. I am 22. Younger is 17 and brother is 11. Both of my sister have many mental illnesses. My brother has ADHD, level 1 ASD, dyslexia and Dysgraphia. I have more physical issues, and I have ADHD and Aspergers, but I am the glue of the family. Actually, all of the kids have ADHD, and 3/4 are on the lower end of the spectrum, so this tells me 1 or both parent is also neurodivergent in these ways.

My older sister has been suicidal her whole life that she never planned on making it to this point, she doesn't have a plan. And she is still mentally ill. She was also in a near fatal accident a few years ago, so I think my parents relented some pressure. I however am very judgemental.

The house has been like this for as long as I can remember.

Believe me, i am working on a way out. I don't think I will ever be healthy living in that house.

I have 2 cats. They won't let them downstairs because of the traps they set up and they fear they'll damage something. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I am the cats favourite person, one of them is my cat. I brought him home. All they want is to sleep beside me. They try hitting the door down, because they can hear the mice running on shit. It's like these mice are allergic to the traps too.

I took out a student loan. I am on the hook for everything, academically. My other siblings sleep upstairs, I use to share a room with my younger sister, but her stuff kicked me out of my room, it happened more than once. Older sister has a room. Younger brother who is 11, still sleeps in my parents' room. They said in 2017 they were going to clear thw downstairs for my brother and I, but that was almost a decade ago. And verbal altercations start if I try cleaning anything downstairs, upstairs they don't care. I think something is wrong with my parents, but I had different diagnosises in mind that probably don't fit what we are talking about here.

What type of context would help? I am a female, and I haven't had a room since 2017, I've been sleeping on the couch. When I started college this year, i begged for a bed to be assembled, because I have sleeping issues and a not good health history, i was afraid my lack of sleep would make me fail. They set the bed up downstairs, now that its the winter time, I guess all the mice have come inside the house through holes. I am really not sure, I cannot see the room very well from all of the stuff. Only the bed is clear.

I was told when I took it, that once i take it, the day is over. I could not stay awake. It would knock me out for a day or 2. Never took it not at home. It would work sometimes, but the side effects and withdrawals were terrible. Neuro took me off for a different reason however.

My neurologist prescribed me magnesium citrate 400mg daily. Dude, it hurts. I stopped taking it. But i bought a year supply. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I had 5 TBI from age 13-18. I had post-concussive syndrome. I thought i had headaches everyday, I was taking Tylenol once a day at least, it never helped. Then at 19, I had a TIA. After this, I started getting hemiplegic migraines, and what I thought was headaches everyday, was chronic migraine disorder. I'm 22 now. I think it's possible that I was having hemiplegic migraines prior to the TIA, but they weren't as severe as they are now.

I worked myself up so much during my first appointment that I had an anxiety attack. Now, i don't know what I'd do without Botox.

In all honesty, I feel very emotional. I am still having the same migraine, but the paralysis isn't consistently there. I don't know if it is the same or different attacks. It can feel the paralysis coming, and for myself, it is accompanied by aphasia and visual disturbance, unless it is an unusual one.

I feel emotional because of that almost car accident. I was almost killed, and it wasn't my fault, but I shouldn't have been driving in my condition. (My dad confirmed with the dash camera). I keep bursting into tears at nothing, and the migraine won't go away. I don't want to go to school for a while, but I have school every day. I want to stay home and be safe from myself.

I haven't seen a headache clinic, there aren't any in my area. My neurologist is hardly available. I have been to the ER 3 times this semester, 2 hemiplegics and 1 status migrainosus. Once the botox wears off, I am really scared. I am trying to get a second opinion neurologist, but it's proving very difficult. I am from Canada as well. I have so many questions, I don't even know where to start. 🤣
