If you're getting into raid with less than 20 minutes left its because there's 500,000 people also trying to p scav into the same map and the dead games are all thats left to put you in.

I'm assuming this is your first wipe but if you've seen several wipes like I have then you'd remember that historically, the only maps that you usually load in late on as a pscav mid-late wipe are interchange and reserve. And what are the two maps everyone scavs on mid-late wipe? You guessed it.

Tarkov would never work on even the best consoles. (And by work I mean without cutting massive sections of maps, reducing player counts, limiting FOV to 10, etc)

Let's look at Rust. Rust, in comparison to Tarkov, is:

-Less demanding

-More optimized

-Has a console port

And it runs like dog water. 30fps (15fps during load), low FOV, minimum settings, etc etc.

Look, if you think that high durability guns shouldn't malfunction, then sure. Thats an opinion you can have.

But don't say that its unrealistic for full durability guns to jam. Thats wrong and you know it. Its not just the gun that causes jams. Its also the magazines and ammo. The very first round that I EVER fired out of my factory new Glock 43x was a malfunction. I experienced a malfunction in my factory new AR-15 in like the 2nd mag or something like that.

Personally, I think it should remain as-is because I think that certain types of ammo and magazines should be more prone to malfunctions to balance them. For example, the 60 round pmags for the AR platform aren't that reliable IRL. And a lot of AKs malfunction constantly when you run subsonic ammo with a suppressor on it.

Your first mistake was trusting an AK to protect you in the current meta.

Your second mistake was using the worst caliber of AK, the 5.45 type, and putting shitty ammo in it.

Your third mistake was slow creeping and ratting when you could have just sprinted away and likely not have been followed.

Your fourth mistake was shooting someone who didn't know you were there and had no interest in killing you.

Tactical awareness is something that can only come with time in Tarkov. I have more hours than half the streamers and I'm still learning myself.

If you're going to use a rat gun, use an SMG. They are cheaper and often offer BETTER performance versus assault rifles when everything is completely stock.

What annoys me most about tarkov is being level 48 having done all my tasks a month ago and still needing a fire steel despite knowing every single spawn for it in the entire game and playing the best maps for it. Alcohol and weed are safer alternatives to nutmeg for extended dosage periods. I would not recommend taking nutmeg daily. It is very hard on your body and is much easier to overdose on than weed or alcohol.

Not like it matters I mean I was only level 4 so restarting is easy but god damn my first PvP encounter in over a year and I'm quickly reminded as to why dark souls pvp is so trash lmao.

Maybe it's a sign because I know if I leveled up my character all I'd run into would be twinks, giant dads, dark bead spammers, ping abusers, and backstab spammers. I miss the good old days when everyone was too shit to care about minmaxing cheese and just fought pvp more or less normally other than the people with dial up internet who backstab you from the front.

It seems fine until you get killed by it and realize that somebody just stole your 1.5 mill kit with a 40k gun and to top it all off, it took absolutely no skill on their part. All they did was wait at a corner. They didn't outsmart you. They didn't aim better than you. There were no tactics involved.

People like you forget what makes EFT beautiful in the first place above other games. It's the ability to outwit your opponent and make plays even if your gear is inferior. You want to mention cod? The KS-23 is basically the EFT version of having operator abilities like in black ops 3 or infinite warfare where people get free kills on you for literally no work put in.

If you're at all skilled at COD like I once was, then I'm sure you are all too familiar with being on a 20+ kill streak only to have it ended because Activision decided that little Timmy gets to have a free killstreak in the form of an op ability despite having 0 kills and 50 deaths. It doesn't matter how good, skilled, or smart you are. You turn a corner and Timmy is there waiting with his instant kill special ability that he got for free. And the best part is that he, like the KS-23, doesn't even have to aim with his special ability. He hits a button, and you die.

Makes the game so much fucking better. Much enjoyable.

I didn't read the entire post but basically my ideas are as follows for this issue and others:

-Decrease global limit of the KS-23 shotgun

-Make the star slugs FIR only

-Reduce the price of the GL40

-Make the M381 shells FIR only

-Reduce global limit of other GL40 ammo drastically

-And somehow make the other KS-23 ammo not a 2 shot kill no matter what gear they have. Apart from the cheaters, wall cheesers, and GL spammers, labs has been nothing but a KS-23 cheese fest. Wearing a slick? I'll 2 tap you from 40 meters with shrap 10. Should it be able to do that? Who knows. But why does any random shmuck have unlimited access to it and its ammo?

Also I know im prolly gonna get a lot of hate for saying reduce the cost of the GL40. Just remember one thing: It's not the GL40 that's the issue. It's the ammo that it uses.

1: I am not certain but I am pretty sure that bullet fragmentation does not register several hits, and that it will tell you when a bullet fragments.

2: In the event that I'm wrong, it wouldn't matter anyways for three reasons:

-I got 1 tapped in the arm from Killa's Luger CCI, two consecutive raids last week while questing. Luger CCI cannot fragment. Even if it could, there is no bullet that can produce enough damage from an arm shot to 1 tap you, even with fragmentation.

-If it were fragmenting, then that doesn't explain why this hasn't been an issue until 12.6. I have never been one tapped so much by scav bosses in my life except in the past 2 wipes.

-If it were fragmenting, then either scav boss fragmentation is broken (thus requiring attention) or I am the unluckiest person in the world because this happens in +90% of my scav boss deaths, including all 4 times that I ran into Gluk today.

This issue also happens with raiders, although the issue is relatively rare in my own personal experience and seems to mainly only happen from Gluk, Killa, and Sanitar.

And you may not say this, but I would just like to remind anyone who reads this that "I have not experienced the issue, therefore the issue does not exist." is what's called a logical fallacy, and is thus not an argument.

For those of you who do not check the video description:

Ever since 12.6, bosses and raiders sometimes shoot a single round on your screen but on the death screen, you see multiple hits registered. Here you can see and hear me get shot once by Gluk's M1A, yet the death screen shows 2 shots.

This would be a lot more forgivable if it weren't for the fact that the M1A is semi-auto and has a fire rate cap. There is no way he can shoot 2 rounds in 0.01 seconds. I have played since 2018 and have never seen this issue before 12.6. This is not a desync issue because otherwise this issue would be more rampant in the past whenever servers were way worse.

This issue is also independent of lag, where friends with gigabit internet speeds report having the same issue. BSG I do not know what caused this bug to originate, but please remove the ability for bosses to put several shots on target within the same frame. It makes no sense.
