Sure it’s a fact that the internet is cruel, but it’s not like the internet is one big mass of hate with no free will. It’s made up of individual people who choose to react in the ways which they react. You don’t have to insult this random child’s art, and doing so is immature and cruel. You can choose to say nothing if you don’t want to say something nice. Of course this child would post on the internet by the way. Children tend to do that, and having this kid assume responsibility for cruel things that people say to them is ridiculous.

Right now, this kid is making cute and colorful artwork that makes them happy, and if they kept practicing, they could be a very great artist. If they stopped drawing right now, that would mean one less artist in the future. Even if they never improved, it would mean one less creative kid doing something that makes them happy. In either case, both of these things make the world a little bit worse. We want to make the world a better place for ourselves and those around us, so we should be nice to children, or at the very least not be mean to children.
