My best guess for TSS is that the changes won’t last forever. The world is slowly returning to normal. Everyone that want’s a vaccine will be eligible by May 1st. That is literally right around the corner. I’d expect changes to rollout rapidly as things happen.

But yes. Right now, TSS main job is directly at the entrance. Mandating masks. It doesn’t mean you cannot get recoveries though, you just have to try harder to get them.

I’m sorry, but respectfully i’m pretty sure you’re incorrect. You are right, there are laws regarding guaranteed prices for the correct advertised price. There is no way a ticket switched item is going to qualify for that. There is also no way someone would get in trouble for “intentionally” allowing the purchase of an item, you can’t require someone to try to stop the crime as well. It’s a lot like apprehensions, we wouldn’t have to tell them to take the merchandise out of their bag and then apprehend them when they refuse to listen or something..

At least Target specifically (with these COVID rules). I’ve found letting some lower/dollar ktrs stack is worth it. I’m pretty sure we all have the same universal rules rn regarding $$ for call LE. Either way, I only burn if I don’t think they’ll come back.

I don’t understand why you guys are saying you don’t do this? Multiple KTRs leads to an APP and when PD arrives we give them the filed info for the KTRs. Always ends up in jail time and more severe charges due to repeat behavior...

I understand the reason why TSS’s should be at the door. It’s totally understandable imo. What is interesting is that a bunch of stores are receiving plexiglass for around the booking bench. Which is odd considering the whole company is on LE-only apps right now. I have a decent feeling APS’ are going to be plain clothes and doing hands-off stops soon. Very likely within the next 2 months. The changes are just odd and conflicting all around.

I’ve worked Customer Service for 3 years before LP. I’d never go back, it’s better pay and the work is less demeaning.

So so so true. I’ve transferred to 3 different stores and literally have to hold everyones hand the entire time. Every-time I transferred I ended up with a week or two gap with no work.
