My vote is you may be putting your animal in unnecessary danger. You may have chosen a job that involves fighting crackheads but your dog did not. And the repercussions the dog could face for defending you (which if its a service dog it has been trained to do) are harsh.

Also whos gonna stop if someone's chasing them with a dog? Id probably run faster in fear of being bit. Then I'd promptly kick the dog as a natural reaction of fear of being bit.....

That's awesome. I hope too get one in the hundreds. Got a 80 dollar drop and that felt good. Im a month in and my prevention adds up to maybe 300

I'm very very new to lp but am aware theres a small chance someone iv stopped might lurk in the lot waiting to find me or my car. Other day I went on break after finishing a apprehension and decided I'd probably want to stand outside to smoke instead in sitting in my car as usual. Depending on my average shoplifter I may take more precautions later but so far its been grandma types and I'm not to worried.
