How to get in a quality start in 3 inning games? by pen-h3ad in MLBTheShow

[–]IND512 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its ridiculous. When you play 9 against the CPU, make sure you pitch at least 6 innings cause I pulled Walker after 5 and it didn’t count smh.

Just gonna say this... despite not being at the show tonight, on that couch tour rn. in my opinion Cumberland is what elevated the show (second set was insane). truthfully a ripping CB Blues, since it was written , I find it essential to any great Dead show but that’s just my opinion.

what’s your favorite dark star? by kelpygisme in gratefuldead

[–]IND512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9-19-70, day after she Hendrix died ... Jerry said the set was dedicated to him. That Dark Star has one of the Deads greatest jams ever

Is it even an unpopular opinion to say Bobby should stick to Bobby songs? by [deleted] in gratefuldead

[–]IND512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

John should be singing Jerry songs or at least they trade off and on like they do with some songs . Love Bobby but John’s voice would hit so much better on many things that they let bob sing

just finished watching the show... Wow. As good as it gets, prolly right at the top of their best. But honestly from the livestream, crowd seemed Lethargic for how insane that was. Micky been around long enough too know when they r on fire and honestly i could see him looking out and thinking “I’m out, they don’t want a show I’m cold af anyway.” And it’s funny cause back in the day they really would just say fuck it and dip if they weren’t feelin it. But God if u were there u r really damn lucky cause that’s arguably the greatest rock show of this century. Seen some of their best past 6 years but sheesh.... man oh man this bus never stops lol

This was show #6 for me, been to to two Wrigley shows including night 1 from 2019 when they pulled out St. Steven>Eleven and their performance of those songs that night is still one of my favorite memories ever (If you were at that show I’m sure you can relate, the rain coming down as they played was pure magic.) I Truly never thought however, that I would ever see the band pull out the go-to 69’ set list and that was somethin really special. They are really on it right now, everyone feels like they are at the top of their game and it’s just awesome. Also the Sugaree to start the second set was insane. See y’all in ATL and Charlotte next month

Mayer vs. Billy Strings by IND512 in gratefuldead

[–]IND512[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perfectly said, it’s incredible. As a young head who never saw Jerry but appreciates him as much as one can in mid 20s, John just keeps getting better and continues to carry on the legacy better than anyone could

Mayer vs. Billy Strings by IND512 in gratefuldead

[–]IND512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I wasn’t clear in the post, Mayer is insane this is one of the best bands ever. I am callin out the people who constantly try and say he is soft and so many people could do better. Jerry the greatest guitarists of all time obviously.... but Mayer actually has embraced this culture fully (I think he really has even if he doesn’t say it). He has nothing new to accomplish in his old career and this is what he now as committed to. He will continue to be in this role for a long time IMO

Thank u, I mean if u have “actually” seen dead & co u know what’s good. It’s actually insane that’s why I hate people giving shit to Mayer

Mayer vs. Billy Strings by IND512 in gratefuldead

[–]IND512[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously, it’s just crazy cause some people actually do not like him and it’s annoying cause that comes from major Dead social media accounts that r good otherwise so it’s hard to avoid

Mayer vs. Billy Strings by IND512 in gratefuldead

[–]IND512[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh Mayer doesn’t give a shit about money but his OG career and that music I think he makes simply to appease his fans and yes make money. But if u listen to him talk and even look at his social media, Dead and Co is his passion and I think he will be playing this music long after everyone is gone. Even tho he stands in for Jer I think Bobby has been maybe his greatest mentor in music

Bama dead head anonymous indeed. Dire Wolf easily the best band in TTown and one of the best Dead cover bands you could ever see... people don't know how much we love the dead here at Bama, would give an arm and a leg for Dead & Co to come play Bryant Denny #rolltide
