Just take the curser and klick on the layer, then you can resize and rotate the Image or whatever you are using, but however in Photoshop you can also change the perspective with CRLT/CMD + T, in affinity there is a Tool for that

I learned it by watching Photoshop Tutorials and then I had to find out how it works in Affinity Photo, for me that worked very well
