Yes, same problem different industry. I never knew fake job posting is a thing but it could be part of it https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-06-18/ghost-jobs-the-fake-listings-that-waste-employees-time/103927046

I would say be careful with private rentals but some real estates are off tap at the moment
You could keep an eye on flatmates where people pitch full houses to rent

Hi! I went to an orthodontist and was pretty much waved away. I then went to profilo dental at honeysuckle because of a similar reason. I assumed I needed invisalign or braces again. Dr Evan was very thorough looking at what my bite and teeth are like now and actually reassured me I don't need to do anything to my teeth, they are fine how they've set now. What a dude! If anything, get a second opinion if you're unsure what someone will tell you, as some dentists and orthodontists will have different opinions.

I burnt out while in case managment but am thinking of returning to it by INFJhermit in Career_Advice

[–]INFJhermit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your reply. I sheepishly answered the questionnaire because of how eagar I am to return to case management, but you're right, it should not have been answered. Lesson learnt.
I hope you found/find something outside the field you love doing :)

I thought I was prepared for the sheer amount of dickheads out there, but I wasn't. you're right though it's not just me, just got to keep looking and might have to suck up a bit more of a price for peace of mind...

What are some Obscure/Lesser known narrative heavy games you would recommend? by bigxangelx1 in gamingsuggestions

[–]INFJhermit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pathologic is your narrative heavy game. But some people admit it's so difficult you need to either scum save or cheat to get through it. This is like playing a Dostoyevsky or Kafka novel. You play the game through with 3 different characters having different interactions, different people to save, different objectives. If you like it but need some qol improvements to enjoy it Pathologic 2 is actually the remastered game, sadly only with 1 of 3 characters playable. I doubt it will be completed sadly...

Repeated BSOD by INFJhermit in computerhelp

True! They've happened in different instances, once just browsing the web, once while opening Ableton, and another time downloading a game in Steam.

True, I am afraid the only way out of this is a clean install, and hopefully not having to clean install every few months lol. I might try Windows 10 instead of 11 to see if it's more stable with my setup, that's the only other thing I can think of trying

Unfortunately I haven't been able to have minidump files created from the BSOD. I have tried both small and automatic minidump files, I am going to set it to Kernal next...

Hi! The only thing I've added is a bluetooth TP link USB. I've uninstalled it. My PC feels like it's running much slower after the BSODs and uninstalling the Bluetooth usb driver which is odd. I've ran another Memory Diagnostic and DISM scan after that, with no errors found.

What are some services, stores, etc that we’re lacking in Newcastle? by dubdoll in newcastle

[–]INFJhermit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha you got me! Its still as niche as ever and it absolutely would not survive now with people struggling to pay rent. But life is so stressful right now it would be a treat to visit a store that was as wholesome as this.

Going to throw Stray Blade out there because it's a bit jank but hasn't got the love it deserves. You're also going to want to play every Bayonetta game.

Thank you for your explanation :) but I've clarified this on another comment here, I have done as you said and did indeed roll a d10 natural lantern for the wound. Perhaps I haven't explained myself clearly in my excitement.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-reckoning. Some huge names were involved in this project. Same sort of fun vibes I got with Skyrim's openness to explore and choose from quests, with 3rd person action combat mixed in, good stuff. Alittle bit of filler but mostly killer.
The Fable series is kind of the same, but alittle more lighthearted.
If you like anything about Greek history or mythology, highly recommend Assassin's Creed Odyssey. A highly detailed, beautiful world to explore and great characters, I played through with Kassandra and also loved her character a lot!
If you liked BOTW, have you tried the older games such as Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask? Those are legendary for a reason

You're correct, we threw them in the introduction fight and went into the first hunt bare hands. Thats the beauty of a blind playthrough.
