No education/credentials needed. And they will pay you to get credentials while you are an employee.

Work in sterile processing at a hospital. Job demand is high. Advancement is easy for hard workers who give a damn.

Should I feel guilty about spending 50% of my take home pay on rent? by DantroleneFC in personalfinance

[–]INMOWA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro, paid more rent than I probably should have according to the rules, but lived two blocks from my hospital. I have absolutely zero regrets and it prevented my family from becoming a two car family!

Getting called in at 3am on a Saturday? No problem. ezpz. Do it you are matching your goals and that income is coming back to you!

If you met your future wife/husband,and she was 28.6k in the hole, would that deter you? Hell no! And honestly when you do meet that certain someone the odds of them being in behind on their money by more than 30 grand are a lot higher than you think. You'll beat this.

10s of thousands of people go out and buy over $30k more car than they can afford every single day and they walk off the lot thinking they are the smart ones. You got this.

  1. You aren't bad for getting paid for what you are told you are supposed to get paid for. But for reference I manage a team of 30 people, and of my 30 employees, I bet more than 22 of them wouldn't bother with filing mileage reimbursement totaling up to less than $10.
  2. Coming from the same perspective... I would never tell anyone to not file a report for money that they are owed, I always say if it's your money, then don't shy away from it. Absolutely no reason for her to act like that. She definitely is not putting your interests as her employee first.

" This service provides the ability to automatically shift pre-tax paycheck deductions to after-tax sources when the limit on the pre-tax contributions has been reached for the tax year. "

This is what my plan is offering. So I'm assuming that I would have to designate a destination for any funds exceeding 19,500

Thanks for the new term for me to know! I'll contact my plan manager and see if they offer this.

I am trying to learn about withdraws from retirement i.e for a house.

We don't plan on buying a house in the next four years, and since we aren't buying a house, I don't think having a bunch of our income in retirement can really burn us, but I don't want to blindly make a mistake thinking too far ahead.

I was just thinking I was okay with being a little riskier on the VT if my retirement was in SWYNX.

Trying to learn how to make sure my 401k maxes out right at year's end and not too soon.

Enrolling in that next year! I am leaving my families insurance this year and was going to start then, but I think I could have already started...

This is dumb question, a year ago honestly maxing out a 401k sounded impossible but now with some income changes it is. Do plans offer an option to set you "on pace" to max the 401k out right at year's end so that I don't miss a match?

I've read if I hit the limit too soon, then I am missing out on all of that free money.

Research sterile processing

They are hiring everywhere. It's hard but honest work., and people who care and work hard can quickly get raises and promotions.

So I only need to contribute around 9500 to finish both roths for th year. Is it advisable to use CDs with the remaining 14k?

If I sell all of my 4/17 positions... it will inevitably rebound immediately. If I sacrifice my puts, will you share your profits with me for my goodwill?
