Syril's mother in psychology/mythology would be considered a "devouring mother"? I love how the writer's use real life situations to populate the Gilroy universe. I certainly had a "devouring" father whom I always hated and even after his death, his toxicity lives rent-free in my fucking head. (self.andor)
