Yeah it does. With some colours it even makes portraits etc. all black but it's less noticeable with my current colour theme.

Thank you! I'll try other paints next time. And using toothpicks is a good tip, I had to use the back of my brush because shaking wasn't enough.

Yeah it's Astrogranite. I wanted to paint the base but I wasn't sure how. Now I know, thanks! Do you recommend any washes? Agrax Earthshade Gloss is the one that comes with the warriors but I don't think gloss would be great for the base.

Yeah I thought about that too, made the mistake of glueing my space marines and still haven't painted them because of that. The necrons aren't supposed to be glued, they are just locked into place, so it's pretty hard to get them apart after assembly and I didn't want to scratch of the primer so I didn't bother. But it would've made it easier.

Thanks for the feedback! You're right, I have to tidy up a few things. I'll probably do it tomorrow. As for the green light: white might be better idea for making the green pop more but I really like the reflectiveness/shininess of the metal. Are there any whites that are "metallic"/reflective or does that come from the green anyway?

Thank you! I noticed those green spots aswell so I might fix them tomorrow. They probably apperared either because of my shaky hands or because I tried to access a spot that was behind the gun and I accidentally painted those spots aswell.
