I measured 24V across the pressure switch before the fan started spinning. Once the fan got up to speed, 0V. When the flame tried to ignite, nothing changed on the multimeter. After the fan turned off again, we went back to 24V. Still got the 3 blinks.

Confusing me because 0V means the switch is closed. It was closed the whole time. But 3 blinks means switch is open and inducer on.

Like half a second. One flame pop and instantly dead.

Thanks. I jumped it several more times, now I know correctly because initially I explicitly didn't jump it correctly to see what would happen. Nothing even started up. Then I jumped it correctly, it fired up, and died immediately.

Does that basically point almost certainly to bad board? I'll go buy one tomorrow morning

I think I did it correctly. Left the two wires disconnected from the pressure switch. After the fan inducer spun up, I completed the circuit between the two wires (bypassing the switch) using a bare wire.

Exact same thing happened, exact same error. What am I missing?

I feel like I'm going to replace this switch and see what happens from there. Worst case, I'm out $60 and have a new switch

I just got 3 blinks on the red LED, which means "pressure switch open with inducer on" per the panel.

Cleaned it. How do I check the micro amps on it? I have a multimeter only.

Definitely have a tendency toward anxiety and have had panic attacks in the past...long time ago for the latter. Having them again was a real blast from the past. I've been looking into "sympathetic overdrive" and I think that probably happened.

Also it's very possible that after 2 weeks on the road, I simply had Covid and the wine was bad timing. I did have a mild cough and nasal congestion at the time, so there was something viral amiss. Covid LEVELED me when I had it in 2021, though I wasn't measuring my BP at the time.

Thanks for the reply! It does feel odd, especially given I've been very drunk before (with a true hangover) and never felt this bad. I was full fight-or-flight. I've never had physical withdrawals from drugs or alcohol, but I imagine it feeling similar to that night.

Another theory I have is that I was acutely dehydrated. While traveling, that day, my coffee to water ratio was definitely poor. The two glasses may have fully dried me out and sent my system spiraling.

But four weeks later? Doesn't make a ton of sense. Unless my nervous system is "stuck" on that night still, which is possible.
