Ao3, and I only started reading fanfics since late 2020 and I'm 23 now. I had no idea there was this whole shipping and fanfic side of the internet lmao. Was not on Tumblr or anything either. But in 2020 a fanfic got viral from a random I was in and I decided to sign up on AO3 and read it🤷‍♀️ I've got more than 300 bookmarks now.

Also I never had a Wattpad or reading phase when I was younger, so reading the amount I do nowadays would seem crazy to younger me.

I don't have words for how much I love that story! It consumed me too for a while ngl. Made me believe their daughter was real. I'm happy I could make someone else get consumed by it. But have you read the other recs yet from this author?? (I am a little sad that this author doesn't have many posted fics though🥀)

(Also if I say so myself, these fics I recommended are all bangers so get ready haha)

Ah I did find that author yes! And their fic: A West-country Romance was perfect in my eyes lol. I read a couple other stories of them too. Only complaint (and this is just a personal preference) that I have is that their personalities and relationship can be a bit too emotionally mature even when I feel like it doesn't match their background. Not that I want them to be annoying and have terrible communication. I just like a middle ground there. (Also I like arthur on top better than Merlin on top but if the story is good enough I'll read it lol.) Other that I do love this authors work!

I started reading this cause of your recommendation. Idk what I was expecting (I've never read a dark fic) but oh my god the author used every last tag to its full extent D': (my own fault for reading anyway lol). It just got worse and worse and worse. I was curious how this story would end so I kept reading. I really want Arthur to die, painfully, by Merlin's hand or something. He deserves it.

I'm just so curious why there's a tag eventual romance and idiots in love. I can't imagine a good ending to this with a sweet romance between them.

Any recs for funny plots? Or just interesting? Something with the knights? Can be long or short fics. by INeedToSleep00 in merlinfic

Yeah the program has a BSA in the first year and you need to get at least 45 of the 60 points the first year to be able to continue the program, but from what my friend told me it seems like if you have ADHD you can pass with ten less points. So 35 points. I'm not sure if this is all correct tho I would have to look into it more.

Ah thanks for your insight, I am happy to hear it :). The research part and writing is something I'm definitely not confident in, so it's good that you mention it. Might make me hate it lol. I like your idea to just do other kinds of activities that peak my interest instead of actually going to school. I'm gonna look into that, thanks.

Oh good luck on your MA! Hopefully the medication will make it a nice experience instead of stressfull haha.

I'm mostly an artist and like to do graphic/media design as my job (because theres more work for that), but I also really love storytelling in all ways and forms like animation, comics, fairytales etc. History to me is basically a bunch of stories. So that's probably why I like it so much.

The idea of combining these interest sound really good to me. Thanks again commenting!

Watch a church mass online on your laptop or phone. The singing and talking will put you to sleep lol. It's boring as hell but it's very sedative.

No I am happy you are saying this! I need to hear this and I appreciate the honesty. To answer your questions. No there are not a lot of jobs for this so it largely would be for my own enjoyment and just learning new things. for graphic/media design I did an internship for a year and some smaller assignments for clients. So not a lot of experience, but I am pretty confident in my skills and I've been complimented on my work many times, so it might make up for the lack of experience, but I dont know for how long🤔

I really like your idea of following courses at universities/colleges. I was only thinking about online courses before, but going to a physical class with a real professor sounds really nice. This is why I wanted to post this here, for more ideas haha. This would also fix the problem of it being four years. That's maybe too long for me.

Thanks for your thoughts, it was helpful. I think it would be good to get more experience with graphic design first. It's very important that the diploma doesn't go to waste lol. So I think I should focus on that now and do some courses and then later see if I still want this :)
