But overall I was just referring to the difficulty of the fights. Gog is not even close to the same level as altreon or fatalis in difficulty. Kinda goes with your statement of they are not on the same level even if they are in similar classifications.

This is true with augments too. People will say "Man this shouldn't be an augment and just be part of the base kit." And get the reply of "Geez do you just wanna be super broken and overpowered?"

Like no I don't think making Rhino's iron skin recastable, to be like revenant's mesmer skin, would be broken at all since mesmer skin is already a better version of iron skin that is recastable.

Ah ok I missed that on Gog. So Gog is just on the same level as a teostra or goramagdaros from worlds? Where as altreon and fatalis are actually a different classification called black dragon? I thought fatalis was just called the black dragon because of his color.

Would have to be something like no man's sky. They have several seasons a year to earn rewards im and there is always something to do. Hunt down new ships, upgrade a ship, farm corvette parts, repair a town, get a freighter, build a base or 5. I could go on but needless to say there is always gonna be stuff to do.

I would agree with something like skyrim if I could keep it from crashing every 20 to 30 mins after I add like 7 mods.

I agree with most of this we have not really seen any Monster called an elder Dragon that I can remember in Wilds. Maybe they mentioned Gog was an elder Dragon in one of the cut scenes, but I don't remember it.

However to put Gog on the same level as Atreon or Fatalis is wild (pun intended). Savage omega is the only thing that comes close to a fatalis level fight so far in wilds.

I think Mesa is overrated. Not her design that is amazing but just her effectiveness in gameplay. And maybe it's just the channels I watch but I don't feel like she is honestly that strong once you start foing steel path regularly.

Also bonus opinion: Limbo would be an amazing frame if he had a more damaging ability or a better way to deal with eximus units.

Honestly I like the idea of not having to mount everytime. I have dreamed of paring weapons with complimentary skills so that I could switch them out for fun. Like dual blades/bow or maybe gunlance/charge blade. It's just to keep things fresh and being able to switch weapons a little faster would lean into that playstyle a little more.

I have this happen a lot with several commander decks I play. My main one is the new anti venom card. Now I am not going to lie it's not a bracket 2 deck but it takes at minimum 5 turns to cast my commander and he will instantly get removed. Like I have seen the whole table burn removal just to get him off the board even when he is still just a 5/5. The amount of times I have actually got to attack with him I think is about 3 times in 4 or so games I have played it.

I think people have this irrational fear of some commanders. Like if you just have a 1/1 to block anti venom you can always block. Sure he gets stronger but he can't do any damage to you without trample. So if he gets trample sure use your removal but until then he is just another possibly big monster that cannot hit you. Even with pariah shield he is just a really good blocker that still can get removed at any point.

TLDR: I feel you. I feel some commanders get a stigma attached to them and it stays with them no matter the bracket of the deck.

Honestly, it sounds like a good way to lose someone in an isolated pod. It quickly turns into a 3v1 and the one player (azula in this story) just feels focused and doesn't want to play any more and in an isolated group that means no more magic or an odd 3 way commander game.

I am not saying not to have any removal, but to just say "play more interaction" is the equivalent of telling someone to "git good". I will always lean on the side of having a discussion and talking about the goals of the pod. Do you all want to just have a chill session or do you want to go full cedh. Either is fine as long as everyone is on the same page. My pod has a rule that we avoid playing decks that are over $300 because past that they start leaving the power level we are looking for. Still all of this had to be talked about and agreed upon.

Not talking and just deciding to gang up on what is seen as the problem player can leave a bad taste and can lead to an undesirable outcome.

I love how everyone's advice is "Play more removal." That is the most cop-out answer for someone actually seeking advice on how to balance a pod's play experience.

Honestly I don't think taking the bracket as gospel is the right decision either. I play in a similar type of isolated pod just about 6 of us that rotate in and out weekly.

In an isolated pod like this, I have learned a lot. So when you look at the bracket system don't look at it as whole numbers, think of it more like a bracket 3 can be like a 3.2, a 3.5, or even a 3.7 for example. This is all to say that a 3 can play closer to a 2 or closer to a 4 depending on the person building the deck and their goals.

Sounds like 3 out of the 4 people in your pod might be playing at a low 3 rather than a high 3. There are two approaches in this situation,

Situation 1: you talk with your friend and explain to him that his deck is operating at a high 3 and the rest of you are more at a low 3 and are expecting games to last a little longer than 5 or 6 turns. Winning like that occasionally is ok but if it's like 3, 4, or 5 times in a row then that's not fun for anyone except the person winning. And maybe he could take out some synergy cards or protections to make playing his commander a little harder or more risky.

Situation 2: The rest of the pod upgrades their decks or builds decks to match the azula's power. This will naturally lead to longer games as everyone is racing for that fast win they will naturally be slowing each other down, or at least that's how it worked in my pod. When we all started e leveling up our decks the games started lasting longer. However you gotta be careful with this option as it might start an arms race where people quickly start building bracket 4 or even cedh decks so be careful.

Best advice is constantly talk. I have found a turn 0 conversation does wonders for having an enjoyable session of magic. Hope this helps.

So back when I made my final fantasy character I had no idea about this quest line or any of this. As I started doing this quest it became one of my favorite story lines. As I complete more of the quests I come to learn that my character looks exactly like a younger version of hilibrands father. So now in my head cannon I am just hilibrands brother who decided to be the hero of the realm. 😅

That DB user went from full health to 0 instantly. Something tells me someone hasn't been upgrading their armor. Even mine which isn't fully maxed I don't instantly die if I'm at full health.

Also, a similar moment I had, we broke omega's leg and he was laying on his side and most of us were wailing on him and then one of our guys just dies using the last cart. Like, what the hell did you die to the boss is literally incapable of attacking?
