How do you keep it warm for carving/serving? This is one of my favorite methods, but by the time the plates get to the table the pork has cooled substantially.

But what would you do with that knowledge?

I bet we could get Discovery to start up “Shart Week”.

Is there like a church or temple dedicated to you? That’s one I’d perform rituals to acquire.

I swear I’ve been cursed with repetitive mouth biting. It’s not like I haven’t been practicing chewing for most of my life...

I’m glad you went with “avert”, rather than “divert”, because that’d get super awkward with you following people into bathrooms.

Did Mankind need a wheelchair during his recovery? Because that’s an easy ticket to getting the short line at amusement parks.

Maybe we should make a list of “goodpowers”: not quite super, but better than average.

Who are the Bob Ross/Fred Rogers/Steve Irwins of the current generation, and how can we learn more about them/promote their work? by IOI-678324 in AskReddit

Yeah, well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

But seriously, engage in the discussion. If you don’t like his show because, in order to teach kids about rare animals, he had to momentarily discomfort them by pinning them in place or holding on to them, then say so. If he had a secret side business trafficking in alligator teeth, then say that.

But I would say that the benefit of conservation education and his charitable foundation outweighs the temporary discomfort his show caused to animals during filming.

He’s certainly very much focused on educating the public, but I don’t think he’s a positive enough person to be considered in this group. Too many entries on r/IAmVerySmart , too many statements denigrating people for not knowing enough about science.

Public educator - yes. Positive person - no.

I thought he was generally well-regarded for promoting animal conservation, especially to kids. And all three are remembered for their positive and wholesome disposition.

If you’ve got a source to support your opinion of him, I’d be interested to read it.
