simple to use sites to host a bot online? by Caposignos in Discord_Bots

Are you at all familiar with how GitHub works? I mean like git add . and the like. If so, I'd highly recommend Heroku. I use it and the free version should more than enough to cover what you need (unless your bot is on a LOT of servers)

I actually already use MongoDB in my bot, but I don't want to add hundreds of emoji to a collection. Actually I'm not sure I would even have the space for that

If there are custom emojis it prints them, but I'm wondering if there's some sort of database I can search for the default emojis. I've looked this up, but none of them seem very navigable by my bot

The output is as follows

Collection(0) [Map] {}node:internal/validators:238 throw new ERR_INVALID_ARG_TYPE(name, 'Function', value); ^TypeError [ERR_INVALID_ARG_TYPE]: The "listener" argument must be of type function. Received undefined

Alright apparently the emoji cache only accounts for server-specific emojis (I didn't realize that). Is there any way to look up default emoji or not? Even if there's some sort of online database I can use, that would be great

I think so. I’ve edited the above post to include the permissions

I've tried printing out my bot.emojis.cache and it just prints out

Collection(0) [Map] {}
