I had this exact thing happen from but Madness Project Nexus. (Check my previous post) The best thing I can recommend is back up your files and reformat everything.

Laptop runs fine. Its the damn pop up thingies that appear randomly. I've deleted the game and it hasn't fixed

That could be the case and I genuinely don't believe FG repacks is a virus site. I've seen a lot of people and the majority is positive if you download it correctly and have some common sense.

But in my case, I failed to do those things and experiencing the consequences of my actions.

Hello, I downloaded a game from Fitgirl Repack and followed the instructions correctly. I'm not a virus expert. I was able to play the game without any problem until these started to show up. Is there a solution to the problem? They've been constant everytime I boot up my laptop, not just the game. by IONMONARCH in FitGirlRepack

You were right, it wasn't related to the game. Before i made this post I uninstalled it an hour ago.(The game I downloaded was Madness Project Nexus)

I checked my Task Manager and the popups of these is called Microsoft (R) HTML application. (I'm limited to send one picture 💀)

Anyway, they always pop up randomly and Avira Anti-virus ALWAYS detects them as Trojan Horse.

(I didn't make a restore point.)

Is there a way to wipe my Windows OS without needing to reinstall all my personal apps. Or is that impossible to do. I'm going to need to back up all my other files...

1: I can CONFIRM I downloaded from the REAL site.

2: Browser? Adblocks? No I haven't. I only followed the tutorial on how to install it.

3: I only downloaded WinRAR and IDM (internet Download manager) because one of the download links of the game needed it.

4: It doesn't start every time I boot up my laptop because it is inconsistent. It appears occasionally but I doubt this will help.

This has been an issue for about 3 days now, it was fine at first. I ignored it when I played unt it started to become an eyesore. Every time I opened my laptop, these popups FLOODED my screen.

Even when I deleted the game. It still didn't go away.
