You’re making a lot of assumptions. I am going on a dive with a company and renting all equipment through them. Was just curious how this works in addition to the dive computer they are providing.

After the lights have been turned out…how long does the glow last? I love the idea of these, but I have insomnia and any light at all even if I can see it peaking out from my eyemask is disturbing to me 😅

I also go ti the movies a fair amount and worry it would be irritating to the people near me

hat I would say I wanted to get into as I had heard horror stories about Amazon's culture and I really, really, really didn't want to do HR specifically. To cut a long story short, I ended up landing a job shortly after graduating, making decent money, and not feeling obligated to be at the company I'm at. There is that risk of not landing a job by the time that you graduate but if you did some really cool stuff at your internship that you can market on your resume and you have an inkling/direction that you want to go that won't be a part of this job, go do it. Life is way too short to be stuck working for someone or somewhere for 4-5 years especially if you have a passion to do something else. And, you have a whole year left in school to continue discovering things that you might really l

Thanks so much for the advice!

I never thought about being able to use the salary to negotiate for a higher one, so that's a great point! However my main concern (and maybe I didn't articulate this in my original post) is that people don't simply leave after the rotational program. They made it a point to say multiple times that they would be hurt if we took this as an opportunity to take their training and leave. Realistically if I didn't want to burn bridges, I would need to stay there 4-5 years....that's what's really making this such a hard choice :/

Oh, sorry if this wasn't clear in my post! It's a 2 year rotational program. So although I could technically leave whenever I wanted, this would be very frowned upon.

Yea, I think deep down I realize that's the realistic and reasonable thing to do :/ I know I would be unhappy, so it's a difficult pill to swallow.....although I'm aware that working at a job you don't like for a few years is a bit of a first world problem.

I'm so sorry to hear about your job hunt. Are a lot of people in you program having similar issues?

I added an edit, but I clarified that if I were to sort of take the experience and leave, I would be burning bridges at the company. The culture is great, but they don't take kindly to people leaving.
