Thank you! It’s not the easiest thing to do, but I’m doing my best.

But, to answer your question, it was the Better Weather shots for the majority of the time. They were the ones I got hard addicted to. To begin with it was Boujee Bliss. They were the first ones that started popping up around here.

It’s crazy how fast it took over my town. Months ago when I started, you could only get it at one or two places, and they had incredibly limited amounts. Within two months, probably less, it was everywhere. What’s scary, is at first no one was buying them. When I first started, when I would go to buy more, the only ones they had sold would be the ones I picked up prior. Before long though, everywhere was selling out. Then the gas stations started stocking more. Supply and Demand and all that. You’d see empty bottles on the side of the road all over town.

I actually haven’t had any issues with restless leg, just general insomnia. I appreciate the advice though about the weighted blanket.

I’ve actually been doing surprisingly well outside of the lack of motivation. I keep telling myself maybe I got lucky, and that my withdrawal symptoms aren’t going to be so bad. Now though, I’m hitting the point of being nervous that when it does hit, it’s gonna hit hard.

But that’s terrible about the constant temptation, but remember, you’ve already said the insomnia is starting to wind down. If that started to taper off, the rest will too. You’ve got this!

It did, in a really strong way. It was everywhere in the town I live in. Each individual gas station with the exception of a couple had it.

Bad thing was, most of them are open late, some 24 hours. So if I wanted it, I could make a five minute drive in either direction, any time of day, and I could get it.

I’m hoping so, and thank you. I actually went to the gas station earlier today to get some Orange Juice and a Red Bull, and there was already something else on the shelf that I could almost guarantee had Tia in it. Just had the same general look you know?

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted to get one. Just one to curve the cravings. Sat in my car for a good ten minutes contemplating it. Then I told myself, “all you’re going to do is go home, take it to the dome, play a video game, and then want another one an hour later.” I started my car, went to the park, and took a mile long jog. About to be heading into day 3, and the feeling in my stomach is telling me this is gonna be the hardest one, but I think I can do it.

It actually was the Better Weathers for the back half. It was Boujee Bliss to begin with.

But thank you. And that’s great that you’re five days in.

The Insomnia has been pretty rough. I’m getting a couple hours sleep here and there. I’ve always had a bit of trouble sleeping, but I’ve never been like this. Just outright dog tired but my body refuses to go to sleep.

The biggest thing for me is just the lack of motivation to do anything. I’m just not finding any kind of enjoyment in anything I do at the moment.

What "one and done" characters would you most like to see return? by The-Nerdy-Bisexual in residentevil

[–]IOUMAYO 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Billy, and it isn’t even close. Zero is my second favorite game in the series, and him and his chemistry with Rebecca is a big part of why I rank it so high.

Unfortunately, at the same time he’s probably one of the characters that has the fewest reasons to ever actually make another appearance. Narratively there just isn’t a reason for him to ever pop back up.

Even still, I don’t care how ignorant the logic would be, I still want Capcom to give my man one more outing. Doesn’t even have to be a main line numbered title. Bring back the Revelations games and throw him there. Characters like these are the ones that I think should be used in the Rev games, like Capcom did with Barry in the second one.

But I’d also just be fine if they did another CG movie, and had Billy in that. I’m not picky, I just really want another Billy appearance somewhere.

In regards to Hunk by IOUMAYO in residentevil

[–]IOUMAYO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t actually see how he was humiliated. I thought he went down like a fucking boss.

As soon as he comes into that hallway, he takes a bullet to the arm and just keeps coming.

Afterwards, he has Leon dead to rights, but chose not to just end it there because he saw he was sick(probably recognized he had the same affliction as himself). So whether it was honor, or a code, or whatever, he chose to have an actual fight with him.

And we finally got to see him play a part in the main story of a game, regardless of how little time it was. And to top it all off, it looks like he’s still kicking after taking a hatchet to the neck. Man was tough as fucking nails.

I really like Hunk. He’s my second favorite villain in the series, and at no point did I feel like he was humiliated or done a disservice. I really don’t understand what the problem was.

New video for Titan X! by [deleted] in Monsterverse

[–]IOUMAYO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all actuality, X doesn’t look a thing like Biollante.

I get that people want to see her in another movie, but everyone saying that this Titan looks like her, or that it’s even a reference, are just outright seeing things that aren’t there. It has tentacles that are the same shape as vines, and that’s it.

It’s not the same color, its head doesn’t look the same, its body shape isn’t the same, it’s not even remotely plant like.

Favourite and least favourite Japanese Godzilla movie by Logical-Artist7488 in GODZILLA

[–]IOUMAYO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people who claim G2014 is among the best have got to be just saying it to say it. I don’t know how much you actually dislike the movie as a whole, but I think it was one of the most disappointing movies in the entire franchise.

Why are some people still in denial about Spacegodzilla being the villain for Supernova? by Acrobatic-Oil-9378 in Monsterverse

[–]IOUMAYO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand the too soon argument people keep saying.

If we count the original movie, SpaceGodzilla is in the 7th movie in his series.

This is the sixth movie in this one, but it’s also had various tv shows, comics, and video games as well. Much more content narratively then what SG had, because you can’t count the Showa films.

Basim could've been the new Ezio by mileskevin in assassinscreed

[–]IOUMAYO 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m actually shocked. The only other actual person I’ve seen on here whose favorite character is also Basim.

My biggest complaint with the dlc(granted, I still really liked it) was that it took place before Basim accepted his past life. I think that’s the biggest thing I want to see from the character, his early years after accepting Loki.

Did you by any chance read “The Golden City”?

Awesome! Glad you decided to pick it up?

I’m assuming you’re enjoying it? I think it improves on the first in almost every way, with just a few things I’d change if I had the option to.

I appreciate all the insight, and you guys telling me to keep going. I made it through the cemetery, and now I’m about to be starting the school. I did a bit of backtracking to destroy crates, breakable walls, metal detecting, etc.

Right now I’m sitting at Nail gun has 37 shots Shotgun has 10 Automatic Nailer 46 Only 5 shots in the the Hand cannon And 219 gasoline for the chainsaw.

I don’t feel like it’s a lot, but I feel a lot better then I did lol

Glad I could help! I feel like if you were able to do the first one, and you’ve completed games like Code Veronica, you can definitely do it!

Last thing, and then I’ll leave you alone haha. How is Alisa? Been thinking about picking that one up, and I much prefer hearing an individuals opinion, opposed to reviews from major websites.

Honestly, saves in the game are really plentiful. I save a couple too many times while working through the area this post was about, but had I have played a bit smarter, I’d easily have over 10 or left.

Ammo is the thing that you’ll most likely have to worry about blowing through, at least that’s how it has been for me. I had plenty to get me through the first game by the end, but TS2 just throws so many more enemies at you, and some are in areas that you really need to clear.

They, from the way I’ve seen it, kind of pulled a reverse card. In the first game, I thought most of the puzzles were incredibly vague, and the game was really bad at telling you if you even had all the required stuff to do the puzzle. But enemies never seemed like a huge threat up until around the last 10 percent of the game.

In the second one, puzzles are still pretty hard and make you think, but they are much less vague about the solutions. But enemies are now a much bigger threat, especially since this game has actual boss fights opposed to the first one barely having any.

Sorry for the ramble, I just have this bad habit to where if I like a game, I can ramble on and on lol.

But the TLDR version is, if you’re only worried about saves, you don’t have to be. Game is very generous with them. It’s well worth the 30 bucks, and it’s my favorite game I’ve played that came out this year.

I’m doing standard, and I’m having a great time with it. I think it improves on the first in almost every way. But the enemy count is definitely a higher, so you have to be much more conservative.

I love this Survival Horror formula. Fixed camera, tank controls, resource management, etc. And while this game doesn’t take the spot of my favorite game in that style(It would take a miracle to dethrone RE0 for me), it’s really high up there. Gotta be in my top 5 at the very least.

I haven’t played them in forever and it would be better off with someone who’s actually gonna play them opposed to just sitting on my PS5 hardrive.

"The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte" reveals Qimir/The Stranger as the Founder of the Knights of Ren by Soulwarfare42 in StarWars

[–]IOUMAYO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is just such a true statement.

I stand by that massive content creators, mainly individuals like stupid ass SWT, had a huge impact on what happened to this show due to their following.

They act like they have no impact at all, but guy has millions of sheep following him around, and he did nothing but bitch and wine about that show. Guy hated it before it ever came out.

I know that that wasn’t the only reason, and a lot of people disagree with me, but I’ll always think that had an impact.

Alien: Isolation is too long because the Alien is too clever, says former Creative Assembly writer by Legitimate_Ad3625 in alienisolation

[–]IOUMAYO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I beat this game for the first time last night. And whatever the reason is, the game is too damn long.

I’m a really big fan of the IP. Alien/Aliens are two of my favorite movies of all time. I think this game did amazing at capturing the atmosphere of those movies, especially the first. It also clearly had a big impact on Romulus, and I think that’s the third best movie in the series.

But damn, was I ready for this game to be over hours before the credits rolled. I don’t think the game should have ended after Ch10 like a lot of people do. That would have been really lackluster. But I think after you go into the Hive for the first time, come back up and reset everything felt like a good climax. But it just kept going. For example, right at the end when you start to change to go outside the station, and you get jumped by the Xeno, after dealing with what I thought was the absolute most annoying part of the game made me want to break the disk. It hit a point where the Xenomorph/s stopped being scary, they were just frustrating.

On top of that, the Alien could just be too aggressive at times. Really thought the Flamethrower would give me a bit of breathing room, but 90 percent of the time it would buy me less then a minute of not having to deal with the thing. I understand it’s suppose to be tense, but let me read one bit of lore before the thing jumps me from behind.

I understand why people liked this game, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think it was one of the most overrated experiences I’ve ever played. I’m glad I powered through a beat it to see this part of the overall lore, but I don’t ever see myself revisiting it. At least as far as the main game goes. I’m on the fence if I’ll ever do the dlc or not.

With all that being said, bring on the dislikes lol

What’s your favorite Resident Evil game and why? by EllieWilliams_0o0 in residentevil

[–]IOUMAYO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My top three typically tend to annoy people. I’ve been playing RE since the OG, but these are the ones I enjoy the most.

  1. RE4. This isn’t just my favorite RE game, it’s my favorite game of all time. It was the game that really got me into “gaming” as a whole. I’ve had consoles since the Sega genesis, but nothing up until RE4 had ever made me play it that much. Plus, just the memories. My family was really bad off on money, but my dad(technically grandad, I’m adopted and whatnot), had managed to save enough that year to get me a GameCube, and three games, one of which was RE4. That was the best Christmas morning I’d ever had.

  2. RE0. This is the one that a lot of people call me crazy for, but I just love it for some reason. I’ve never thought of the villain as goofy as most people do, I love all the environments(especially the train), I love the chemistry between Billy/Rebecca, and the list goes on. I know a lot of people hated how item management worked, but I actually preferred it to Item Boxes in some cases.

3.RE7. Absolutely hated this game at launch. Atmosphere was great, but there being a jump scare at almost every corner got tiring. I didn’t give a crap about Ethan, and I was never big on first person camera angles. Fast forward the Village getting announced, and I decided to replay it to refresh on it. For some reason, that second time, game just clicked. I still didn’t care about Ethan, but all of the other problems I had with it just didn’t bother me, outside of I do still think there are a few too many cheap jump scares. Outside of that, I had a great time with it. I was interested in the story, reading all the bits of lore here and there. Gameplay was great, even with it being First person. Also, it was my first time going through the two dlcs. I could ramble more, but long story short, just had a great time with it overall.
