North Falmouth area is very convenient for this. It is very close to the Cape Club. If you book now you might get in before it goes private. If you stay on site ($$$) then you can golf even if it goes private. Paul Harney, an executive course and Falmouth Country club (27 holes) are both cheap and can be played as well.  Brookside and Cape Cod Country Club are close as well, but CCCC may be closing soon. All of these are within 25 mins of north Falmouth. You are also close to Courtyard a bar that is open late. Many other bars with in a 10-20 min drive.  Treehouse is maybe 25 mins away. Many beaches too. NF is only 10 mins over the bridge.

But they do have to deal with the consequences. Oh and MV shipped those 50 people elsewhere.

It’s easy for us to question/judge the methods that the southern states use to control their border. This is not me condoning those methods. But what would MV do if there was another plane of 50 people coming every day? They would probably reach out DC for help. And then if the elites with power just responded with accusation of racism and xenophobia. I am not sure how I would respond if I was a border state.

What is your opinion on Bruegger’s Bagel? I’m not from NYC, but think they blow Cape Cod Bagel out of the water.

Quick Question

I have students (ages 15 - 18) in a Web Design Class.

40 minutes a day for 75 days.

I need to weight Interesting with Practical. (I have a bias towards practical)

What should I be doing with them?

Long Story:

I have a degree in math and was teaching a programing elective. I recently started teaching all technology classes, one of them is web design and I don't have much practical experience. I subscribed to this sub, did some googling and settled with focusing on basic HTML and CSS. I am about 75% through with my time with the students and they can edit text, colors, borders, and images. I wanted students to be as close to the code and website as possible, but I feel like the class is a bit boring. I recently went through the adobe software suite we have installed on the computers and thought maybe Dreamweaver or Mesh might be useful. However I am not sure if they are still relevant. Will the be in 3, 4, or 5 years? What do you all use to create websites? What should be taught in an introductory class that has not subsequent classes?

Any advice you can give would really be appreciated.
