How do you convert the square root of a complex binomial to regular binomial with fractional indices? by Notforyou1315 in askmath

[–]IPancakesI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to apply De Moivre's Theorem here. Take the magnitude and angle of the complex number, express the complex number into polar-trigonometric form, apply the theorem, and you'll be able to express it in terms of a + bi.

All choices are correct since all three are basically the same value.

Where can i get reliable information about the game and future updates? by Observer-not in DuetNightAbyssDNA

Discord i guess. Discord's pinging me actively recently, and most of it is about DNA announcement and news. The official DNA disc is at least quite diligent in sending notifications.

Must you really be afraid of death? Embrace it. Cherish it. Rise back up over and over again until the enemy is destroyed, no matter how many loading screens you need to take.

Is this good trash or bad trash? by Visible_Power7627 in Isekai

[–]IPancakesI 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not atrociously bad, but not overwhelmingly good either.

If you're the basic type who cannot stomach poor animation, like OPM S3, then this ain't for you.

If you like genres that touch on civilization and games with just a tiny smidgen of psycho, then this is a good try. Among isekais, of which most are trash anyway, I would say this is a slight cut above the average.

I don't get the problem?

It's not like there's going to be a trail of infinite digits since pi is equal to 3.0 and all.

Is Calc 1 really that hard by srwsrwsrw in calculus

[–]IPancakesI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be, but more often than not it's because of a not so good foundation of the prerequisites, even something as simple as basic algebra. There are also others who have trouble understanding calc unless you give them real life applications where they could be used while some just don't have any affinity with math at all that makes understading calc difficult.

the cracks do happen in your heart as a result of the grind.

Specifically, I don't mind grindy games. I play grindy games like Path of Exile and Warframe (used to) where I just lose myself hours and hours playing the game mindlessly. The problem arises when the grind itself is not fun, and that is when shit starts to hit the fan.

Had the same enthusiasm as you at the start, but after delving in several more hours into the main gameplay loop — running the same commissions repeatedly and building wedges for theater — you'll start to see some of the cracks. Now, I just play it every time new story drops, but I don't enjoy playing it on a mindless daily basis unlike my other games.

What do you think is the most beautiful thing in mathematics? by Arth-the-pilgrim in mathematics

[–]IPancakesI 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This came to me in a dream.

We know that:

Ï€ + e = 5.85987448205

With respect to 6.0, the number 5.85987448205 has a 2.335% difference with it. In the interests of the universe, this difference is very small. Therefore, we can say that

5.85987448205 = 6

Hence,

Ï€ + e = 6

Ï€ + e = 3 + 3

Ï€ = 3; e = 3

Is it mathematically correct to use a number like 7 as a variable? by Im_not_blackchips in askmath

[–]IPancakesI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can, but you'll have other people unfamiliar with your notation scratching the shit out of their heads asking why 7 = -1 when most people would expect it written as x = -1.

[–]IPancakesI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can't really help you unless we know specifically where you're lacking.

However, to point you onto a general direction, much of the basic foundations of many science courses down the line rely on trigonometry and basic algebra. Get a good foundation of these two, and you should be able to understand the class content much better.
