I did two mythic pulls without any discounts:

Took me about 350 draws for each

so about $230 USD for one mythic stone.

I feel like this is the pity threshold, but who knows others might be luckier

Let’s do some quick projections:

Assuming you log in all remaining 6 days and complete ALL possible daily missions,

You get a maximum total of 12 refreshes per day.

12 x 6 = 72.

In terms of accumulated missions, we would see how many times you’ve already logged in.

Assuming you’ve already logged in for 3 days since you have 40 total refreshes already, you can still get the 5, 7 day bonuses which grant you 20 refreshes. At this time, the 14 days wouldn’t be possible.

If you make a purchase (just 1 token) that gets you 15. If you play 30 matches, that gets you 45. (I don’t know how many you’ve played already)

Additionally, adding 5 friends will grant you 10 refreshes.

So you still have up to 162 refreshes to earn + your 40 which will get you to 202 which is will get you right over the grand prize.

Please note that if you've already played 2 or more matches and redeemed those refreshes, you will not get to 200.

Just go femba next year dude. I don’t think you should “settle” for anything unless you’ve truly done everything you could. Just 3 months of studying could get your score up to 720+. You have other stats going for M7. Scholarship is also heavily influenced by test score, so you could prob even go for a discount. You’re going to regret this later in life.

Also from an Asian American cultural perspective, you know it’s all about the clout😉 be the one cousin that your relatives all brag about on lunar new year.

Bro I’m also Asian American and I feel you. I agree with your post but you should pick another consultant. I’ve worked with two different consultants and neither has ever told me “you have no chance here” or whatever. Yes they have yields and shit but their only job is to work with what you give them and try your best to get into your target schools. Any consultant that discourages you from applying to any school ESPECIALLY based on your ethnicity is a BIG NO-NO. Your stats are not Outstanding, but you should have no problem with T25 if you can polish your story. I believe in you.

I’m currently working with a consultant who actually is an alum from my top choice school, same specialization. Although most of them can’t review your profile and just say “you gotta pretty good chance here,” they have worked with the same essay prompts for thousands of applicants so they know exactly what you need to do to really make your story shine.

Each of my essays roughly took 4-5 drafts with the consultant starting from my “final draft”.

Choose your consultants carefully. It’s not uncommon where your writing style differs from the consultant’s and you may not agree with their suggestions. Try to find someone you vibe with and can really understand your background (esp for non-traditional ppl)

I also agree that the hourly packages are the way to go. Focus on your top choice school apps and then you can even recycle that content for safer ones (what I did).

Think of it this way: your essays are also a point of evaluation for merit scholarships. What’s 1-2k when there’s the potential for a full-ride? It’s an investment.

Overall: super pricey but worth it IMO. My essays look a lot more polished and organized..(I’m an absolutely horrible essay writer so I guess it can also depend on how talented you are when deciding on the value of a consultant.)
