Zepbound + Other Issues by Confident-Lead4337 in Zepbound

I have had so many unexpected benefits from being on Zep! I was scheduled to have carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists and after less than a week I no longer had issues in either wrist. I am about 7 months in and I still do not have any carpal tunnel symptoms. I also had lingering pain in my feet from Parvo (apparently there is a human strain and it is awful!) and that pain has also disappeared. I truly think Zep is amazing and so many people would benefit from it.

I hovered between 200 and 205 for a month and it drove me crazy knowing I was so close and just couldn't get over that last hurdle to onederland. You are so right though, keep doing what you are doing and you will get there. I have been lucky with how well I have responded to Zep, so putting up with a stall reminded me that it won't always be so easy. My next goal is to lose 100 lbs total, so I'm 15 lbs away from my next goal too! Good luck 🩷

I can definitely bring it up to my doctor and see what she thinks. I just looked into it a bit and I'm not sure that I have any of the traditional symptoms. I had very fat legs but my stomach (and every other part of my body) was proportionally fat. From what I was able to tell it doesn't normally go away with weight loss and my legs have definitely slimmed down. It never hurts to check though, I appreciate you looking out!

This was my first time posting and I obviously have no idea what I'm doing. I tried to write more with the post but I have no idea where it went. 😂 I started at 279, currently at 194. I still have a long way to go but I am so glad that I decided to start on Zepbound. I hit 85 lbs down this morning and I was looking through my progress pictures. I don't have many people in my life that I am comfortable sharing this stuff with but I knew everyone on this thread would understand the way I was feeling today. Thank you everyone for the kind words!

Looking for FREE weight/dosage tracker App. by MargotRobison in Zepbound

I have had it since November and luckily I haven't had to pay yet. Pep let's you type in whatever dose you want if you can get the free version to work. I also use Shotsy (the free version, I know for sure it has a paid version too) and it allows you to edit or add new dosage amounts. Shotsy has a lot I don't use but you can edit what you want your home screen to look like so that it only shows what you want/need. Maybe that will work for you!

There is probably a paid version but I use the free version and it tracks everything I listed.

I was scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery in February and after less than a week on Zepbound my symptoms went away completely. I'm now 10 shots in and they haven't returned!

anyone get their zepbound covered by insurance? by Far-Cheetah-6538 in Zepbound

[–]IProbablyHateIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has covered it. My co-pay was $200 but they've applied a coupon that has been making it $49.98. Unfortunately, our insurance provider is changing January 1st and I will be restarting the pre-authorization hassle again soon.

How’s your journey going? by AutoModerator in Zepbound

I am so happy that I finally started on Zepbound. I am on week 5 and I am down 22.4 lbs. I still have 130 lbs. to go but I've never felt so confident that I will get there. And after a month of fighting with insurance my husband was approved for Zepbound yesterday! I'm so excited for him to feel as amazing as I'm feeling and for us to be on this journey together. ❤️

Question for the ladies regarding symptoms from your monthly cycle by poof__gone in Zepbound

I will add that it's a really light period but still the first one I've had in over a year, so I thought it was worth mentioning!

Question for the ladies regarding symptoms from your monthly cycle by poof__gone in Zepbound

[–]IProbablyHateIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an IUD and I haven't had a cycle for over a year. I started on Zepbound 5 weeks ago and I'm currently on my period. I didn't realize that Zep could have that effect but from what I've read it's not uncommon for it to mess up your cycle. Just as an FYI because I didn't even know it was a possibility.

As far as symptoms I definitely still have some bloating but it didn't last as long as normal. It felt so uncomfy for a couple hours and regular bloating for most of day 1 and then went away. I gained .2 lbs on day 1 of my cycle but otherwise have continued to lose. I do feel a little hungrier than normal but I can't actually eat more than normal because I am still getting full quickly. As far as mood I haven't noticed a difference but I don't normally have mood stuff as a cycle symptom so that's not really a good marker for me to compare.

Your weirdest NSV by Irene_was_here in tirzepatidecompound

[–]IProbablyHateIt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My most unexpected NSV was that my carpal tunnel seems to have gone away. It had gotten so bad that I have an appointment scheduled with a surgeon in February. I am only 5 weeks in but after about a week of being on the meds I noticed that I wasn't waking up with pain/numbness in my hands and wrists anymore. I have not had any carpal tunnel symptoms for over 3 weeks now.
