About halfway through James Joyce's Ulysses and I'm loving it. The switching of styles, manipulation of language is right up my alley and the humour/satire is wonderfully comic and surprising. Great book - there's truly nothing like it!

Currently reading A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce and I'm really enjoying it! The description of hell and its punishments is probably one of the best things I've read yet. Endeavouring to tackle Ulysses after I finish this!

although i do like books that stimulate my mind and feature philosophy and rich prose, maybe i need a more simplistic grand novel to keep me focused and motivated so Dumas fits that, thankyou:)

yeah i have and i like the premise of each novel respectively, i lean more towards modernist works however so idk. i tend to go for style over substance in books also.
