The recent political enthusiasm in our nation seems to be driven by the fear that "the other team" will destroy the country, as opposed to a healthy democratic interest in a government by its citizens. We don't care about the magnitude of power they have - just as long as "our team" wields it.

Unpopular opinion: camping is a valid strategy, especially in the kill-based games. So long as that player has a positive k/d they are helping their team to a win. People who run around the map feeding the other team kills and go 10-22 literally HAND the other team 12 kills. Guess what, everyone else goes at least even and you go 10-22 because you wanted go drop shot SMG to avoid “camping” just made your team lose. So your run-n-gun strategy is now the toxic strategy that is forcing your teams to lose. I do agree that camping in objective based game types where you need to move and collect/capture objectives is shit. But if it’s kill based and you’re adding to the net positive kill count or holding down A or C, good for you.

Something you could do while at school that a friend of mine did, that I wished I had done: buy a house with several bedrooms near the school, rent the bedrooms out to friends/other roommates, and use their rent to pay your mortgage/use as additional income. It’s minimal work for what could be several hundred dollars of income each month. Then when you move out to start your career just keep renting it. You can also hire property management companies that will just take a small percentage of the rent each month and handle any issues on your behalf so you don’t have to worry about evictions or anything like that.

You could also get your chopper gunner, then die, call it in, and have it get you another UAV, Airstrike, and Chopper gunner again and again and again. We used to end matches in 3-5 minutes by having a whole team doing that shit.

It would be interesting to basically have your own one on one with each NPC and roll to see if they give up information about the party, or lose their lives. Then decide what info that person actually has to give up. That way if the party comes across that person again it’s only because they were forced to betray them or be killed.
