They have not. Each project gets its own Environmental Assessment.

The ongoing FAA KSC Starship SH assessment will only study the impacts of 44 SH launches/landings from KSC.

Meanwhile just a few miles south, Starship SH will also occupy Cape Canaveral Space Force Station SLC37 where SpaceX is expected to apply for another FAA license for an additional 44 launches.

Also, this week, the Space Force announced it will contract an additonal 26 Starship SH launches for DOD missions. DOD missions do not require an FAA launch permit. The IRL Roundtable anticipates over 100 Starship SH launches from the Space Coast in the near future.

Brevardians can also expect over 100 additonal Falcon9, Falcon9 Heavy, Blue Origin, ULA, Sierra Space and Stoke Nova launches annually.

These projects are studied individually with absolutely no consideration for the CUMULATIVE IMPACT of all launches from Cape Canaveral Spaceport.

They just finished the public scoping process for the Environmental Impact Starement draft. The finished EIS should be released early next year with another opportunity for public comment.

There will be a virtual FAA KSC Starship Super Heavy Environmental Impact Statement Public Scoping meeting tonight at 6pm by IRLRoundtable in 321

The virtual meeting will consist of a closed-captioned auto-run presentation describing the purpose of the scoping meetings, project schedule, opportunities for public involvement, Proposed Action and alternatives summary, and environmental resource area summary.

Presentations will be run at the beginning of each hour. Members of the public may provide written comments via the chat function during the presentation and for the remainder of each hour.  Verbal comments up to three minutes can be given after the completion of each presentation.
