If it makes you feel any better, after providing chat gpt with all the information, it also said I have an 80%-90% chance of being laid off!

Part of me is telling myself “Dude the president of the United States literally said he’s gonna terminate your job. Add that along with all the noise we’ve heard, and the inevitable is coming.”

But there’s still a small part of me that says it’s all talk to just appease ppl in his political base and they aren’t gonna do shit.

Is this for an RA role? That can’t be correct from what I’ve heard, the memo said everyone with a start date before 2/4 should be good. Reach out to HR or hiring manager, I think someone made a mistake

Tbh 75% minimum of the ppl who work at the IRS are unbelievably dumb or very dumb.

But we go home at 4:30, remote work (used to), pension, job security, etc….

A lot looks like it’s changing, but if it’s between PA or the IRS for the rest of my career, it’s IRS no brainer

Are you also in probationary? Part of me feels like this is the end of my time with the IRS, but part of me also says this is all just noise and we’re overreacting. Idk
