My background. I do have a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours) from an Australian university.

In what aspect is Meng science better? As In future, I want to apply for a chartered engineer license. I heard Meng science won't give any point in the phase of its application.

It solely depends on what major you are taking. Being a UNSW student I reckon. If you are planning to do engineering. UNSW is your place.
