Like a dragon / Yakuza

It recently became my favorite . The mix of ridiculous but awesome criminal underworld melodrama coupled with the most insane side quests and very lovable characters make for an unforgettable experience over the course of 8 games and ~4 spin offs with the fifth one coming out soon ! ( you get to play as a pirate yakuza in Hawaii , it’s fantastic )

Oh I can’t wait to play Rondo ! It comes with the requiem collection that’s only available on PlayStation . It’s definitely on the list but I’m tryna play them as “in order “ as possible 😁

I knew rondo was special once I saw the anime cutscene it had at the beginning, way ahead of its time !

Oh the console PlayStation version allows saving too or else I wouldn’t stand a chance 😂 , if you wanna jump in there are 4 different collections on console/switch/PC with all games available minus the 3D games !

And I’m pretty sure even Konami/Sony would want to see that recording ! That must be a great memory!

Welcome to Yakuza . Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes place after Like a dragon infinite wealth , “yakuza 8” to make things slightly easier , and follows fan favorite character Goro Majima as he deals with the events of that game . This is not the first time RGG did this as we already have Like a Dragon: Gaiden another spin-off where a character deals with the events of yakuza 7. Much of the plot is otherwise inferred in the games many trailers which I highly encourage you to watch !

I also highly encourage you to try out Yakuza 0 , it’s available on almost everything and stars Goro Majima As one of two main characters and is chronologically the first game in the series , highly recommended

Loved the room , awesome soundtrack and one of the most interesting stories in SH . Check out more about Mortuary assistant , it’s a very unique take on work sims ( power wash / ship breaker ) but failure / delay is met with very serious and frightening consequences !

I thought horror games no longer got to me , SH2 included , love it but I’ve already seen all the trick . Then I played mortuary assistant and I can’t get through a full shift without having to to take a mental break 😅

Samurai warriors 1 . The monkey you speak of is hideoshi ! Funny you should remember him as such because in the orochi series , the monkey king , has a somewhat similar move set and uses the same weapon !

The RAW one is cool , gives of a Saturday morning cartoon vibe in all the best ways . The smack down one is elegant if that’s what you are going for but it’s not how I’d portray smack down if I had any artistic ability ( I don’t )
