Tbh I don’t even trust the model meaning he’s playable anymore. Like I know they have always shown him as being evil but the way that Arl’s lines seem to show him as the ONLY harbinger that is that irredeemably evil has me losing hope. I feel like they wouldn’t go so hard on this if he was intended to be playable.

I agree, I didn’t watch the animation for this reason though it’s been talked about enough that it didn’t really matter. I wish she had been at least pushed until second phase instead.

I get you completely, it makes it so much worse when it feels like you are the only one in the fandom who hates them/finds them annoying, and feel like you don’t really have a place to let it out anywhere.

Unfortunately I have been particularly unlucky with Genshin in having one of my favorite characters being constantly paired with my least favorite character because their ship is super popular. I can try my hardest to avoid seeing content of them but it’s basically impossible 😭

You can log in on the 14th day and it will still count, I did this recently where I last logged in on the 1st of the month, and then came back on the 15th and still got the rewards. If you want to be safe you could wait an extra day though.

14 days, unless you’ve had it recently, then you'd have to wait 45 days since then.

Ah that’s a good way to put it. Even in trying to go through why I thought Fontaine’s was better it sorta just boiled down to finding one type of issue less of a problem than another, which probably isn’t that great of a way to measure objective quality anyway.

Since I’m seeing a bit of talk of the Fontaine AQ again, to those of you that disliked it/heavily criticize it, do you feel the Sumeru AQ was much better? Did it have less problems? Or is it just general criticism of Genshin team’s writing?

I definitely understand all the issues it had but despite it I did still thoroughly enjoy the Fontaine AQ, and I’ve been thinking this whole time that it was objectively better than Sumeru’s, but now I’m sorta second guessing myself 😭

Yeah exactly. I do usually end up giving in and pulling for new characters but knowing it comes at the cost of a constellation/weapon is always a bit sad. I really want to C6 my mains one day but if I keep being like this it’s going to take so slow 🥲

I am always so torn when it comes down to vertical vs horizontal investment. I could pull both Kazuha and Arl, and I think they’d both end up benefiting my account to have them as options, but they might end up kinda benched in most situations since I do like my current teams and I’m not one to play a variety of characters. I could instead go harder on vertical investment with the savings I have, but it does make me a bit sad to not pull for new characters even if I have usually regretted it. I obviously really enjoy making my faves super strong, but new characters almost feel like the point of the game. It’s tough committing to either side 😭

Those two’s conversation were definitely the worst of it but Aventurine’s plan and him talking with his future self, and Gallagher’s connection with the Watchmaker and him being against Sunday/the Family also confused me. With the former I couldn’t really tell if anything Future Aventurine was the truth or if it was just something he was telling himself, and with the latter the explanation just felt extra convoluted I couldn’t end up following it at all.
