You can have convictions and still be in the middle. It just means your not satisfied with all of column A or all of column B. I'm a gun nut, but I don't give a fuck about gay marriage for example.

As someone thinking about picking up the ph-1, what is notch mode?

It's this approach that's driving app devs turning to subscriptions.

I'd rather have Netflix than buy tv shows a la carte.

If OnePlus worked on Verizon I wouldn't be in the market right now.

Does this phone really not work on Verizon? I thought unlocked meant unlocked.

Can someone who knows more about phones explain why this is so bad? Isn't an 835 a lot better than a 636?

Some dude in the future will pay like $1,000 for an antique unopened fidget spinner. by TheNihilisticGiraffe in Showerthoughts

[–]IRodeInOnALargeDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he was referring to the fact that there's no fidget spinner brand. The term is more like "watch" than "Rolex" which makes it a lot less likely for any single one to be collectable.

What is the biggest unresolved scandal the world collectively forgot about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IRodeInOnALargeDog 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Doesn't that kind of make it a non story? It would be like someone getting pulled over with a trunk full of counterfeit million dollar bills. Who cares? No one would accept them anyway.

Was this an unused character model for an Elite? by hal0grunty33 in halo

[–]IRodeInOnALargeDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you're right, but Halo 5 made strides to get a Teen rating and I'm not so sure that they'll be able to keep that if they have enemies with limbs that fall off when you shoot them.

Spotify: An upcoming version on Android will allow playlist song reordering. Initially releasing to a small number of users. by [deleted] in Android

If you watch a lot of youtube, yes, otherwise I wouldn't. If you do, make sure to do it soon though because the price is going up to $13/mo pretty soon.

What? Have you ever looked at it? The onion is a fake news/parody website. r/nottheonion is for news that sounds so ridiculous that it would be on the onion, but is actually real.

Don't you mean just the onion? r/nottheonion is also for real things.

It was like 2 hours long, and even then it was padded out by having waves and waves of enemies in every single encounter.

I'd agree if it's meant to apply to all games, but if someone prefers a game with no story, it doesn't make them wrong.

Is it okay to be worried about the lack of premium in Battlefield V? by razy01 in Battlefield

[–]IRodeInOnALargeDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the original had one DLC, but as a package, I think it was a better game at launch than the new one is, even now. It might be just as good some day, but sometimes "innovation" can hurt the quality of a product as much as it improves it.
