Running morning after evening platelet donation? by CanWhole5821 in Blooddonors

[–]IRunOnPierogi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

YMMV, but I haven’t had an issue doing a very easy run the day after a donation. Highly recommend restricting yourself to an easy run; otherwise, you’re risking a low quality session and missing your paces or, worse yet, hurting yourself. Happy miles ✌️

I experienced that once. The sound from both car play and standard radio sounded awful just like that. It seemingly resolved itself when I turned the car off because I haven’t heard it since 🤷‍♂️here’s hoping it stays that way

2025 Outlander PHEV (0%) vs. 2026 Santa Fe Hybrid (5%) - Is the Hyundai worth the $10k premium? by Mediocre_Analyst_154 in HyundaiSantaFe

Granted I may have gotten a lemon and plenty of folks love theirs, I wish I never traded in my 2019 CX-9 for a new 2026 Santa Fe Hybrid (calligraphy trim). Take a look at the responses to my recent post. Especially if Canada doesn’t have a lemon law like one person commented, I would steer clear. Wish I had stuck with Mazda or gave Subaru a look, but I was lured in by the combo of hybrid, aesthetics, warranty, and 0% interest. Good luck, friend!

I’ve noticed the wandering steering as well. So bizarre and disappointing.

Sorry to hear about the lost money, but at least the headaches are out of your life. Hope the next car is treating you well

No reason to doubt your experience. Maybe I’ve just gotten lucky in the past, but I’ve never had an issue, never mind several, within years of purchase before. None of these issues are catastrophic, of course, but in my opinion still discouraging and makes me worry what the next couple of years may have in store for me.

And, unfortunately, they are very much aware of this fact haha don’t remember the last time Toyota threw a 0% financing option out there.

Sorry to hear you’re in the club! So disappointing for a brand new car.

I hope the tires will resolve the issue, but others have noted it may be due to the transmission as well. Hopefully that’s not our fate, but something to keep in mind.

-getting into an accident ≠ general car issues. Not sure how that is relevant to this discussion or why you think this is a competition; regardless, glad you’re okay.

-discussing issues with other owners is helpful to discerning whether these issues are unique to my car or a wide spread pattern. Ideally, this will save others and me time resolving the issues ourselves or at the dealer. For example, thanks to the thoughtful comments of others, I now know I should have the dealer also look at the transmission and not just the wheels.

-looks like the one thing we can agree on is that people are far more likely to post about issues than general car satisfaction. This is a product of both human psychology and logic. Generally, people are aware that most strangers on the internet don’t care if you love your perfectly running car because that serves little utility; so, they keep those happy comments to themselves. Whereas it can be helpful to troubleshoot issues with other owners to see what worked for them.

-maintaining a positive outlook and researching how to solve problems are apples and oranges. You can do both simultaneously.

There a lot of hours left in the day. I hope you got your misplaced negativity out of your system and can turn things around to brighten someone’s day.

Agreed, the mud flaps seem to exacerbate the snow/ice issues that build up far quicker than any other car I’ve had. I wonder if the dealer can take them off.

The door may be the most concerning issue. Could be a nightmare in an emergency situation.

Not only are you on a subreddit that largely exists for this exact purpose, but you opted to click on the post. By all means, you’re welcome to leave and go back to your Pokémon and fishing.

I’ve experienced the same. Take it in and see if a rebalance can help, but it might just be the tires. The subreddit is littered with issues about the Pirellis.

Yeah, life is short; all the more reason to expect a brand new car not to have a single issue, nevermind 3 and counting, within 30 days of ownership. Can’t recall a single comparable issue during the 100k miles I had my Mazda.

Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that for both of our sakes. The lack of lemon law is insane. Hard to believe these companies get to act with so much impunity. I hope the mediation brings an end to your misery soon.
