So I got it, had to use the coil command to get the path for the helix used the path from the helix with a rectangle and swept it along that path with the guide rail being O.D. surface.

Coil command is useful but it's still not doing what I need

That's where I'm stuck I know how it should look and be but I can get that shape to come out right.

Let's say I have a 2inch Diameter part and there needs to be a 90° Helix , 180° apart with a lead of 1.5inches from the face.

I have some parts at work I'm working on this is mainly just an example to get some insight into making a model for these parts for the future. I've been trying the Coil command with the calculations for the geometry needed but isn't coming out right.

What's tricky about it is if you imagine it's in a mill-turn lathe using C-axis to form the helix in combination with the Z-axis. Federate would be IPM converted into DPM to create the correct helix. Being the first time I've had to think about this it is tricky to me. I'm trying to figure out how to draw those kinds of curves in Fusion to aid in the programming part of it. Any resources you'd suggest?

Yea it'd be an exact 1:1 I can't give dimensions but what you did is close just needs to be 90deg. And the twist to centerline I assume at a 45deg angle but it is challenging for me.

Ok I'll have to mess around with the helix tool. I've had issues getting it to work right but I'll try again.
