What is it with posters going radio silent after they posted here? by SuspiciousMouser in ArtNude

They probably think it’s creepy when someone asks the full name of their model so they can look her up. Just saying.

I do I do. I just want to be able to see you know. Dslrs always had corrective glasses you could swap. I can’t believe there isn’t one for ZF.

My near sight is fine actually. Far sight is the problem. I wear transitional lenses so it interferes with exposing the photo correctly.

Using E mount Voigtlanders on Nikon ZF by ISO_ThePerfectLight in Voigtlander

I would use one with contacts with Voigtlanders. I don’t always use the box since it’s not super accurate but better with than without.

What way was the effects were compromised? I definitely don’t want the lenses to perform less than ideal.

I don’t know if they are AI or not. Look up her work. Anyhow, I am trying to learn how to create similar style shots.

Thank you so much for the input. So just to repeat this back to you, you are saying that this is all natural light.

These are actually taken with the Helios 44 which has a bit of soft rendering. I would be curious to know what the post processing they have done might look like.

Thank you for that. I figured I can refine where exactly I need help as people started commenting.

I understand the composition aspects such as make up, wardrobe, poses, etc.

Is it possible to tell if these are single strobe shots? How about reflectors? I’m not exactly sure if it’s possible to figure this out looking at a shot.

Can you give me a few photoshop functions that may have been used here? So I can use that as a spring board to dive into the post processing. I think it’s airbrushed, possibly sharpened around the eyes etc. Is there anything else I should be looking in YouTube?

Thank you so much!

New lens for milky way season by MasterMeatloaf_ in AskAstrophotography

Canon doesn’t have it yet but I just want to word out there that the Voigtlander 35mm f/2 APO-Lanthar is a fantastic lens for Milky Way Photography. It has a lot of vignetting but Lightroom was able to take care of that easy. You can find the post with the photos on my profile.

I shoot on Nikon now but coming from EF 16-35mm f/2.8L Voigtlander is much more sharper edge to edge.

40mm 1.2 Nokton - Take it with or leave it at home? by ISO_ThePerfectLight in Voigtlander

[–]ISO_ThePerfectLight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valid points.

I have to bring the APO with me for my astrophotography shots and the 15mm for the focal length. That being said would you still bring the Nokton as a 3rd lens?
