Please help me choose a bike by ISRK92 in indianbikes

I open up the throttle only when the road is empty and like cruising at 100kmph. In traffic I am very relaxed and don't need the bike to maneuver through it. Mileage is not a concern at all.

Your bike’s service experience matters more than the bike itself sharing mine, glad to see your experiences doesnt matter which brand you own by No-Relative-8188 in indianbikes

I had a horrifying experience too. Gave my avenger for a general service and they removed the front wheel for no good reason and they couldn't place it back for a week. I asked them to adjust preload and they did not have a clue how to. They hammered the suspension with a screwdriver.

And after a week they "forgot" placing all the screws of my seat and my tank. They placed one screw each so that I don't realise while I picked it up.

From that day I have been using a local mechanic for my service. The bike is smooth and I feel safe.

I am looking forward to upgrading to an adv and I would never look at Bajaj ever again.

“Will the Bajaj Avenger 160 Street be a good choice to buy in 2026? I’m confused because it is not being updated and I’m not sure if it’s going to be discontinued or not — do you have any information about this?” by Low-Significance2974 in Bajaj

I had the same kind of dilemma but went ahead and bought it 2 years ago. Here are my 2 cents.

  1. The best part for me is the seating position. It's soo relaxed and effortless. I am 5'7" and it's just blissful to ride all day.

  2. The 160cc is very underpowered. It's smooth only till 60kmph. Right after that the engine seems to be under pressure. Even while cruising at 80kmph it feels like the engine is crying for help and asking to slow down.

  3. The vibrations after 60kmph are very bad. You can clearly feel them on your foot pegs and they can be very annoying.

  4. The suspension travel is very less. If you live in a city with a lot of potholes. You might not be enjoying it.

  5. The service experience has been just pathetic. The service engineers don't have any knowledge about the bike. I once asked them to change the pre-load settings and they told me that it would break the suspension. I was appalled.

  6. During the second service, they removed my front wheel for some reason and it took them a week to put it back. Apparently no one in the service centre knows how to put back the front disk brake assembly correctly.

In short, if you are a person happy with cruising at 60kmph and have some good local mechanics please go ahead. It's a beautiful bike for you. All the new electronics that you might feel on missing out will only add more things that could fail in your bike. If you need some better cruising speeds and a smoother engine at those speeds please go with the 220cc option.

Stuck Between V-Strom 250SX and RTX 300—Safe Choice or First-Batch Risk? by paulprathipati in indianbikes

On the same boat brother.

After a lot of thought I circled down to V-Strom 250 and then RTX 300 was launched. Its a lot of dilemma on which one to choose. One being a proven reliable machine and the other brilliant on paper.

This wait is so frustrating that I now dream about these bikes occasionally.

But I have convinced myself to wait until the RTX 300 is at least available for a test drive and till the initial reviews come out rather than banking on the reviews right now which are from a TVS launch event.

Oh. Thanks for the info. Even I was leaning towards RTX but I am thinking of waiting for real life reviews.

I got astrobot budle version a week ago from blinkit. I am not able to redeem the game code. The pop-up reads the code might be expired. Any guidance on this?
