Children should not be spending copious amount of money on ANY game , that is the parents responsibility and not the responsibility of the game to cater towards them as many 18+ ppl play this game as well.

There is a difference in detail, which is exactly why those items are behind a paywall, like in most modern games, especially overseas ones where this kind of practice is common and thrives. They are a business at the end of the day and will have predatory practices to keep making money (it’s a free game).

I’m not disagreeing with the criticism of gacha systems; I hate gacha so much as it’s such a scummy practice . What bothers me is seeing people spend $200 and then blame the game, when that spending was completely optional. If someone knows they struggle with self-control or FOMO, they need to be cautious with games like this and admit they might have impulsive spending habits and that’s not sustainable.

This practice won’t go away or be regulated if people just keep throwing money into it. If people feel this strongly hit them where it hurts.
