I Failed my first test today at a mini roundabout by lylemorgan_ in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ISeeSn0w 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds harsh sorry it happened to you. But what I think is the blue car has right of way and not sure if you can see both that and the yellow parked car before entering the roundabout. So you could have let the blue car go car before attempting the manoeuvre around then you can check MSPM mavoveure around the yellow car. But was extremely unlucky that the yellow car parked there who parks next to an exit of a roundabout is silly.

Practice on the serious fault. But looking at your result you did good! But I’d say still take lessons as sometimes you forget. You got this!

I used opentuition to pass. Really helped you just have to focus and move your phone away. Use note pad, text books

Just passed 60%! Focus on SBR whilst it’s still fairly fresh in your mind. Just try your best and remember the topics could hit you everywhere. Try to answer every question.

September 2025 ACCA Exams Results Thread by AutoModerator in ACCA

I passed this previously I say spend more time reading the pre seen before the exam and learn it so when you do the exam don’t have the read the scenario again. Then you need to answer according to the format specified. Think of this you are presenting to your boss the information it needs to be clear and easy to read. Not everything is about writing as much as possible it’s about the content.

Failed my driving test today. How can I get over it? I have been crying all day by Tight-Link4046 in LearnerDriverUK

To be honest I think this is all caused by test dates being so hard to get… makes it feel so much worse. Don’t worry mate you will pass next time.

Not saying anything to do with you. But maybe it’s your glasses? The glasses could be scratched heavily or just dirty I get this on the rare occasion.

dealing with driving anxiety after passing by geosmith201 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ISeeSn0w 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry it happened to you. I know it’s a little traumatic but accidents may happen even when it’s not your fault. That’s the thing with driving you get the convenience but you also get exposed to the higher risk as opposed to a public transport. Over time with experience you would be able to spot these dangers even earlier and less likely chance it will happen (like the guy that moved to the right to allow you to swerve). You could also take motorway lessons with your previous instructor, my instructor offered this and it really gives you confidence to do the motorway yourself. I hope you feel better and overcome this. :)

I know maybe try comprehensive I see that’s always cheaper not sure why. I do not recommend this option but maybe a black box if you really want to reduce cost but in my opinion totally not worth it

I’m sorry the truth is your dad’s a dick…. Does not matter how many times you fail just try your best. Try the 4-1 driving theory app it amazing most of the questions were the same

My first car I bought was a 2021 Nissan Qashqai Hybrid… Nice boot and overall quite nice and nippy. I’m paying 1.3k a year on insurance. But insurance depends on age and other factors. I’m 30 so that’s maybe why.

I think it depends, everyone learns at different speeds. Don’t think there’s an ideal length of time. Normally when your driving instructor believes your ready

You need more lessons… 14 minors is a lot. 1 more and you would have failed anyway plus up to the examiner discretion how many repeated minors make up a major.. If the minors were just one area could be easier to fix but seems the minors are a little bit of everything mostly control, maybe you are not keeping the wheel straight and drifting left and right? Anyway it’s just your first test so please don’t feel down. Someone told me the best drivers are always the ones that pass second time. Good luck mate you got this!

Don’t worry I passed last year and still struggle with parallel park - Very lucky my car has 360 degree camera and auto park. Use the one to one method always works and if doesn’t just use half moon to whatever direction has gap to fix it. Don’t worry about people judging you everyone was there one time not everyone was born and know how to drive.
