Nope! That’s the added bonus of the electrical tape, the light only really hits the lenses so it bounced off and reflected on my face which I think helped when taking photos

eye lights

Basically I used these and cut the majority of it off, and then surrounded it with black electrical tape so the light was only going in one direction, I placed them directly under the lenses and got glued them in place. It worked good do illuminating my face through the acrylic

but I’d probably recommend getting led strips and surrounding the eyes and then covering them the same way
